Here is my upcoming availability for the birthing year of 2025!!

I'm so excited for the upcoming birthing year to come!

I will be taking my maternity leave mid September after my mamas have given birth and postpartums have been completed and I am planning to come back slowly starting May. The amount of spots may change to 2 or 3 depending on how I handle birth work returning back.

This is my availability for birth support.

It has been a GREAT 2 weeks in Mexico 🇲🇽 mi Pais de origen!!

Visited Cabo, saw Queretaro, went back to the place that witnessed my birth and the birth of my ancestors , went to for some delicious carnitas y cueritos and enjoyed my towns downtown for family fun, bonding and FOOD.

What does the mucus plug/bloody show look like?

It resembles the thick stretchy sticky parts of the egg whites.

It can look just as pictured.

You may see it slowly coming out for weeks or you may see a whole chuck come out all at once or you may not see it till well into active/transitional labor or birth even.

You may see it bloody, white or brown.

It also resembles your cervical mucus during ovulation.

The bloody show will obviously be bloody like when your starting your period first pink in color and then later a darker red color and it can be tangled with little to lots of mucus.

It's me.

Hey guys it's been a minute and I've had a few new faces pop up on here so I figured I'd share a little about myself and who I am.

I am mom, mami, mother to 4 amazing boys! My doula journey/research all started after the birth of my 1st baby.

My waters ruptured spontaneously at my nieces birthday party while I got up and took a swing at the piñata! Waters gushed EVERYWHERE , flooding my pants and leaving me embarrassed thinking I peed my pants in front of a dozen kids 🥴🥴 I ran to the Restroom and the waters would NOT stop flowing. Thats when I knew that my waters had ruptured ❤️
I had no contractions AT ALL but I was EXCITED so soon after I raced to the hospital with excitement and JOY 🥰🥰🎉🎉 I mean I'm about to have my baby right!!??

Worst decision ever made.. I wasn't in labor when I arrived... cascade of interventions started... my babies heart rate suffered and my physical self did too..

Long story short. I had a c section.

After my first experience with birth and feeling the lose of an experience I yearned for, I KNEW I wanted to go on and have a vaginal birth. I read a lot of books, dug through the rabbit hole of the internet, learned about VBACs AND HOME BIRTHS..

I was still too chicken sh*t to go for a home birth with my 2nd but that's another story in it self too lol...

I knew I could achieve my VBAC whenever I decided to have my 2nd baby.. and I did!

At the time my husband was in the military. I gave birth at a naval teaching hospital. I had to advocate like a mother%$

Today I had the pleasure of meeting dad for the first time.

A doula DOES NOT replace the comfort nd support of dads. We educate and help dad understand the big picture. Dads are to be involved in every possible way.i love uniting families and building a beautiful birth team with all my dads.
