I feel the need to express once again my humble thanks to all who
have liked, commented, shared this post and donated to the
organisations (see first edit notes and links). It really means the
world to me as an artist that, going by the comments, I have been
able to convey what I was feeling via my illustration. As long as
there are people who can feel and be moved by a drawing I feel
there is hope and humanity left in us yet!

I have been asked whether prints of this illustration are available.... I am looking into making this a possibility with the aim of 100% of the profits going towards the bushfire appeals.

I am also adding two more links here to organisations in order to help spread the message of their appeal for aid in the way of donations.

Their work to provide the best care possible for the injured wildlife, is ongoing in this crisis. They're tireless and even heroic in their efforts to help, so if you can please donate or spread the word through sharing that would be wonderful and most appreciated.

Wow I'm so incredibly humbled by the overwhelming response to my illustration. As much as I really would like to, it is difficult to reply to everyone individually, so I'm taking this opportunity to say a big, big thank you, for the likes, shares but especially for the heartfelt and moving comments.
