Krisinda is doing leg work on her final circuit.

She’s done this exercise with 22kgs but today we went a little lighter because she’s hitting assault bike and sled with her split squats today.

Went from doing 1 pull-up to two weighted pull-ups woth 13 lbs on. Awesome PR today!

“Will I be able to do class with my knee and back issues ?”

Recently several new clients have asked about joining classes and what it looks like.

Here’s an example. I programmed a session with 3 women who all want to do strength!

Listed above is the workout I planned. Listed below is their individual workout based on issues in their body, and ability level with each lift.

* Ruth can’t do anything overhead due to shoulder issues so we moved to single arm chest presses on the ground

* Sasha has been training pull-ups for a while so to make it more challenging we do L sits.

* Alex is working on pull-ups so we use a TRX to help bridge the gap.

So no matter what level or body type you can be sure the workout will match your body and not the other way around.

One of my 12 year old clients texted me this today. Yes he cooked this ! He came in pre diabetic and in need of some guidance. He lost over 20 pounds, started weight lifting, and changed the direction of his health.

Parents are busy especially now with our changing times we ALL have to take responsibility for our health.

12 years old, 21 years old, 60 years old. It boils down to making good decisions one meal at a time.

Lisa is doing 205 pounds for 3-5 reps!

Deadlift form has always been great for Lisa so we are working on just climbing up!

She’s shown here doing 205 but she got up to 215 today.

We very very rarely test one rep maxes. She ended her set with 225 for 3 reps and each one looked awesome !

Also presses 30lbs one arm 5 reps sets along with Madeline this am.

If covid has made you feel weak it’s time to feel strong again.

I have a couple videos to post from this mornings 6:30 am session! Madeline and Lisa have worked out with me pre covid but since being back we’ve really focused on strength and trying to get their lifts up!

Awesome job from Madeline here not just because of the heavy weight but she’s worked hard on her form and technique. When she struggles she keeps her form and posture in the hinge position.

Lifting like this is only a matter of time before she gets stronger than she’s ever been! Also pressed 30lbs overhead for 5 reps !

Simple and difficult.

Sasha is here working on her grip, with pull-ups on ropes and farmer carries she gets to work on squeezing, then we go to our deadlift so she can work on perfecting her technique.

Remember a stronger grip makes you stronger in EVERY LIFT. It’s about creating that tension. gotta set aside time to work on grip specifically.

Hello all!

In the past week there has been a lot of questions/ request for working out.

Throughout covid we have followed every guideline and we will continue to do so.

Right now we are trying to work through our filter situation. We still do not know if a Merv 11 will fit or work in our building for our unit.

Our landlord is on it and we have an engineer lined up to check air quality to let us know we are up to par.

These things take some time and we will not open until this is handled. I will be in touch with clients via text and verbal communication until I have a more clear timeline !
