Each year, we host our Annual Garden Party as a means to support the Client Emergency Assistance Fund. While we're once again celebrating in a virtual setting, the need in our communities remains high.

Last year, your support enabled us to provide a mattress to one of our Care Coordination clients. Because of the money raised last year, she had a bed and someplace to sleep comfortably for the first time in over 8 months.

Please consider a donation to our Annual Garden Party so we can continue this important work: https://app.mobilecause.com/vf/GardenParty

Save the Dates: July 26-30
It’s almost here: Catholic Charities Care Coordination’s Annual Garden Party!
For everyone’s safety we’ve made the decision to host our Annual Garden Party in a virtual setting again this year.
Last year’s virtual success was unprecedented and we were so very humbled and grateful by the outpouring of support we received. Over $12,000 was donated to our Client Emergency Assistance Fund. Your support has helped to prevent evictions, cover medical co-pays, and pay utility bills. Last year, we even provided a family with a new mattress as they moved into an apartment of their very own!
This year, mark your calendars for July 26-30 for your opportunity to donate or purchase items specially designed for this event. Every dollar collected directly supports more than 150 neighbors in need through our Emergency Assistance Fund.
Stay tuned for our exciting updates. We simply couldn't continue this important work without you.
We hope to “see” you there!

Adopt A Family Update... we realize what a challenge this year has been for everyone. This year we have a total of 243 families who need some extra help for the holidays. We have been blessed with some amazing donors again this year so far but we can definitely use more. We have a total of 330 individuals included in these 243 families we are trying to help. If you can, please consider donating to Catholic Charities Care Coordination this year.
Your help can be provided in any form you wish. Adopt an individual. Adopt a family. Donate high demand items or a cash donation. Every bit will make a difference in someone’s holiday this year.
We thank you all for your consideration.

THE 2020 ADOPT-A-FAMILY PROGRAM HAS BEGUN AND WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Every year Catholic Charities Care Coordination organizes the Adopt-A-Family program for our clients. This program is not possible without the support of our friends and community. With your help we are able to provide our clients with a holiday they might not have had otherwise.

The Adopt-A-Family program is your chance to help us assist our clients, many of whom live on limited or fixed incomes, to enhance the magic and joy of their Christmas.

This year, in these unprecedented times, the need is far greater. The effects of COVID-19 on those we serve have been devastating and while we recognize that this pandemic has affected all of us, we hope that you are in a position to consider helping us- help those we serve this holiday season.

If you, your business or someone you know are willing to adopt a single client or family to provide gifts for this holiday season, please contact Michelle Quentin at [email protected] or call 518.449.3581 to register as a donor. Thank you so much! 🎄🙏

Virtual Garden Party

Hello Friends,
Thank you to everyone who has supported Catholic Charities Care Coordination throughout the Albany Diocese. These programs help our neighbors in need of support every day. Without your support we would not be able to do the important work we do.
Recently, Catholic Charities Care Coordination has been in the news about the support we have been providing to the community during COVID-19. In case you missed the coverage, check out the links of the various interviews Stephanie provided about our recent work.

We are so very grateful for the outpouring of support that our friends have shown this week for our “Virtual” Garden Party. We’ve already reached our goal! We would love to be able to exceed it by 10%. This would increase our capacity to help an even greater number of clients meet their emergent needs.

Virtual Garden Party

Hello friends!

Thank you to everyone who has supported the Catholic Charities virtual Garden Party. We are getting so close to goal!
The emergency assistance fund is at the heart of our mission. The opportunity to help our clients in small ways makes a big impact.
Betty came to Care Coordination in need of support related to her mental health and substance use. As she worked with her case manager and her case manager began to make home visits, it became apparent that her housing situation was not safe as there were many code violations which included rotting floor boards, rodent infestation and black mold. Despite attempts to have her landlord address the safety concerns in her apartment, the building Betty lived in was condemned and Betty and her special needs son found themselves homeless. After many months of residing in an emergency shelter and working with her case manager to locate a new safe and affordable apartment, Betty was able to make a plan to save for the first month’s rent on her own; and with help from the Emergency Assistance fund, which paid the security deposit, she was able to secure a new apartment one where she and her son report they finally feel like they have found a home.
Please help our neighbors, like Betty, who need help now more than ever due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Virtual Garden Party

Hello Friends,
I hope you are staying well and safe during the COVID-19 crisis! Did you know that many of our neighbors are out of work and are now struggling? At CCCCS we have seen a growing need from our clients around accessing mental health and harm reduction services. Specifically, we have seen a significant spike in the number of overdoses experienced by those using not just opiates but stimulants such as co***ne and crack, in some cases resulting in fatalities.
In response, CC Care Coordination/Project Safe Point staff have actively been working to outreach and connect with those most at risk. During this outreach we have had the opportunity to engage and connect with individuals to provide information regarding their overdose risk and have heard from many about the significant struggles they are facing including but not limited to, paying their rent and/or utilities, food insecurities and sometimes even expressing a need for small items like toiletries, socks and intimate apparel.
For this reason, I ask you to consider helping me reach our goal to help meet these everyday needs. There is no amount too small because every dollar donated goes directly to meeting the emergency needs of our clients. Please support us for the virtual Garden Party.

Welcome to the Garden Party

Welcome to Catholic Charities Care Coordination’s Virtual Garden Party! Each day this week, we will be posting information about our services and the people we serve.
The money we raise from the Garden Party will go to help people in our community with unexpected emergency assistance. Last year this fund helped more than 140 people within our local communities with unexpected emergency expenses like, preventing evictions, covering medical co-pays, paying utility bills and more.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 by Friday. With your help,we can personally support our neighbors who come to Catholic Charities because they are struggling to meet life’s challenges. And now, more than ever, the need is increasing because of the COVID-19 crisis.
Please enjoy today’s message from our CEO of Catholic Charities, Vince Colonno, as he kicks off our Catholic Charities virtual Garden Party.
I hope that you enjoy learning more each day about the work of Catholic Charities Care Coordination and will consider supporting our community by making a donation through our fundraising page : https://www.classy.org/campaign/virtual-garden-party/c290894

Thank you for your support!

For the past few years, Catholic Charities Care Coordination Services/Project Safe Point has hosted an annual Garden Party to help us raise money for our Client Emergency Assistance Fund. Our Client Emergency Assistance Fund helps to provide assistance to our clients with unexpected expenses; and this year, while we are still fighting COVID-19, the need is even greater.

Because of COVID-19, we are unable to gather and celebrate our clients and supporters as we have in the past. But….we have found a way. Please join us while we gather and celebrate “virtually”.

During the week of July 20th through July 24th, we will be hosting our annual Garden Party, not in the traditional manner, but in a virtual world via the following link:

At Our Fundraising Page - https://give.classy.org/gdnparty

By visiting our “virtual” party at the link above you will have the opportunity to donate to our Emergency Assistance Fund; not only in the traditional manner, but new this year, you will have the chance to purchase items designed specifically for our event. All proceeds from the purchase of any of the items sold will go directly to our Client Emergency Assistance Fund.

At Care Coordination Services we believe unapologetically that Black Lives Matter.

We denounce racism, stigma, hatred and violence and with our mission as our guide, respond to and empower all persons regardless of race, creed or lifestyle. For this reason, we stand with the members of our community who are actively advocating against racism and uniting to address racial injustices. We stand with them as they fight to make a stronger and better community- A community that no longer marginalizes, stigmatizes and criminalizes our Black and Brown communities.

This was an overwhelming year for the Adopt a Family program. With last minute donations we were able to have ALL of our participants adopted for this holiday season! It would not have been possible without YOU! So to all of our community friends from all of us at CCCCS, we wish you the happiest of holidays and the merriest of Christmases!

We are beginning to wrap up the 2019 Adopt a Family program, and our elves are busy wrapping the MANY gifts that were donated. With your help we were quite successful this year. There were a total of 255 individuals in the program; of which we were able to have 215 adopted.

We cannot say “Thank You” enough. We fully understand the tough times we all face all year around, but without the help of YOU, our community, we would not have this wonderful program!🎄🤝🎄

Today, on Giving Tuesday, we would like to take a moment to give thanks to our local business sponsors for their generosity in giving to and supporting our annual Adopt a Family program. Without them and YOU, we would not be able to bring such smiles and happiness to our community.
Also on this day, we would like to remind you that every little bit matters. Even if you cannot adopt a family, there are many other ways to give this holiday season. Please contact Michelle Quentin at (518) 449-3581 or [email protected] to ask how YOU can help.
