๐Ÿซ In response to the questions we have been receiving regarding the Regional Stay Home Order announced by Governor Newsom yesterday afternoon, we are writing to highlight that the guidance related to K-12 schools, preschools, and daycare facilities, remain in effect and unchanged.

As set forth in Section 2(e) of the Order, when it takes effect in a Region, schools that have previously reopened for in-person instruction may remain open.

Modoc County Public Health has a strong relationship with all our school districts throughout the county. All school districts have implemented the requirements for safe conditions, and continue to partner with us with contact tracing and quarantine guidance.
