This Tuesday we will not be meeting for one of our regular events… instead you have the opportunity to join us at the Memorial Union at 6:00pm to hear from guest speaker Pamela Afokpe!!

🌱Learn about how traditional African vegetables improve nutrition and create opportunities for farmers

🌱 Learn how Indigenous African Vegetables have a positive impact and why innovation within our felid of study is so important!!

This is an amazing opportunity to explore a different part of nutrition and we would love to see you all there!

Join us from 6-7pm in Carver 205 to take a much needed study break with club members! There will be a dirty soda bar for any of you that were able to RSVP! If you weren’t able to, that’s ok!! We’d still love to see you there ✨

Join us for our next Nutrition and Dietetics club meeting from 6-7pm this Tuesday!

We will hear from Inpatient Dietitian Teagan Lipsey and you will have a chance to get our Nutrition and Dietetics club tote bags for $10! We hope to see you there to learn more about what the role of an inpatient dietitian looks like and how she got there!!

Join us from 6-7pm in Carver 268 to hear from dietitian Nathan Schwartz!

Not only is Nathan a dietitian, he is also a personal trainer! He works with women ages 30-50 to help them rebuild strength through exercise and nutrition. We would love to see and hear from you all as we learn how exercise and diet can be interconnected in the field of dietetics! 🏋️‍♀️🍎

Welcome to campus!!🏫

Our first Nutrition and Dietetics club meeting will be September 1st from 6-7pm. During the meeting we will introduce our exec team, get members added to the email list, pay dues, and share what to look forward to this upcoming semester!

We are so excited for another amazing year of NDC and hope to see you there!!

Student Spotlight! 😊

Get to know club member, Sydney Berger!

Sydney is a sophomore at ISU this year 📚

She is interest in becoming a Registered Dietitian and working in pediatric clinical nutrition, with special interest in oncology or transplant.

Sydney’s favorite part of nutrition and dietetics club is hearing about all of the amazing things dietitians are accomplishing!

A fun fact about Sydney is that she loves running and half marathons are her favorite distance! 🏃‍♀️
