This course was absolutely phenomenal! I can say it was the best I’ve taken in my 26 year massage career. The Comprehensive Intensive format was exactly that, but beautifully transformative as well. This class challenged me, and for that I am grateful. If I wasn’t challenged, I wouldn’t have grown as a therapist and would’ve been disappointed.
The mindfulness and whole-person care approach kept me calm throughout the sharp learning curve, and kinesthetic exercises helped me understand from the client’s perspective. We bonded as a group, in our sacred space sharing our questions, triggers, and feelings with compassionate support for each other and our clients. We were all deeply moved by the need for this care. My favorite and most challenging aspect were the case studies- requiring us to use critical thinking and make real-time decisions. This is not simply memorizing protocols, it’s preparing you to think on your feet and make safe, and effective treatment plans. It’s recognizing who is in front of you, their individual story, challenges, and goals. I could not be more grateful for this experience! Thank you to Eryn and the entire MG Team for sharing this with the world!
