I'm embarrassed at how long it has been since I've updated this page. Hey, I'm back though...lol

My car accident that caused my severe Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). My internal cranial pressure (ICP) was at 15 or 16 (brain was swelling dangerously) & was placed in a medically induced coma to help my brain rest. My Glasglow Coma Scale was 3 as well which is no response to any stimuli too.

- Most of all, I don't want to feel anything at all.

I live in Indiana. Here are a few of the resources that can be utilized if determined eligible in Indiana. There are 3 different options at the state level although you must meet their level of care (LOC) before you can begin receiving their services. Please reach out to me if you have any questions.

TBI waiver (contracted through Lifestreams for case management)

Aged & Disabled Waiver (also contracted through Lifestreams)
https://www.in.gov/medicaid/members/aged-blind-and-disabled/

Family Support Waiver (FSW) & Community Integration and Habilitation (CIH) Waiver
https://www.in.gov/medicaid/members/home-and-community-based-services/family-supports-waiver/

The Family Supports HCBS waiver provides limited, non-residential supports to individuals with developmental disabilities who live with their families or in other settings with informal supports.

While I am already reading Headstrong, I got this book from the library. It is about this beautiful politician who was shot in the head back in 2011. It’s inspiring to read about her recovery. 💕💗🙏
