Next up in our Spotlight series is Amanda Orchowsky, who recently joined us as a Data Entry Specialist after working with us as a volunteer! Once you've turned in your consent form and received your vaccine, Amanda leads a team of individuals that input your medical information into our statewide database VIIS, so that it will be available to your medical provider whenever necessary.

A note of special thanks to our health district. Thank you to Dr. Franck, Caitlin, Abigail, and the many other staff members and volunteers who are working so many hours to get shots in arms and to keep us informed about Covid-19. I've been working with them for sometime now to first have Covid-19 testing and now volunteering some. This is an amazing team of people and with all yu have to deal with, someone needed to say thank you! They say be the change you want to see, so I am starting with me, giving you a huge shout our of Thanks!
Would you be so kind as to give an update and to have the vaccinations it’s going in the Chickahominy health district? I sent in my form almost a month ago and have not heard anything and I see where they’ve been vaccination clinics all over including here in Hanover. I am 73 and for approximately 15 yrs treated for pre-hypertension.
Once again we thank the Chickahominy Health district and their entire volunteer team for providing Covid-19 testing and flu shots today! We were slammed at 10AM but in a good way! We were so glad to see the number of people williing to be checked to help keep themselves and others safe. It is amazing to see this team in action! Great team work! Give them a call so that they can schedule a session in your area. Thank you once again! We doubled the number of test we were able to provide this week from our last event!
Thank you so much for your time and caring concern for our Mechanicsville community! Yesterday your doctors, nurses and volunteers came to First Union Baptist church, 6231 Pole Green road and provided COVID-19 test and flu shots for anyone in our Mechanicsville community. This was a free, drive through event and we appreciate each of you. With your help, this service will be offered once again to all of our community on November 14th from 10-12 noon! Thank you all for your tremendous gift of loving service!

Can you confirm if Hanover County requires Virginia Department of Environmental Health permits/inspections for septic tank replacements?
