Our Snellville office is conveniently located in the Eastside Physicians Building on the campus of Eastside Medical Center in Snellville. The medical building is near the junction of Ronald Regan Parkway and Scenic Highway (GA HWY 124) on the north side of Snellville. It is a 10 minute drive from Pleasant Hill, Exit 40 and I-85, a 10 minute drive from Lawrenceville and 15 minutes from Stone Mountain Park.

Dr Goldstein is a highly respected, board certified ophthalmologist in the Atlanta community. She is trained in all disciplines of comprehensive ophthalmology. She specializes in the latest technology in cataract surgery. She focuses on fitting her patient’s visual goals to the optimal lens implant for that patient. This includes treating astigmatism, presbyopia, and near and far sighted patients. She also is well trained in managing the complex patient with multiple ocular and systemic pathologies. She is known in the community for her care and dedication to her patients.

As a comprehensive ophthalmologist, Dr. Goldstein treats patients with diabetes, glaucoma, LASIK, dry eye, blepharitis, and other eyelid disorders. She is also actively involved in research to evaluate new medications that affect may the eyes.

Dr. Goldstein graduated from Boston University with a Psychology major and went on to complete her medical degree at the Medical College of GA. She then completed a Transitional Internship at GA Baptist Medical Center and an Ophthalmology Residency at Kresge Eye Institute, Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

She returned to her home, Atlanta, in 2001 to join Dr. Stephen Leff in practice at Georgia Ophthalmology Associates. Together, they grew a successful practice in both Decatur and Snellville and in 2019 they decided to share their success merging with Georgia Eye Partners where they were able to expand their footprint to include offices all over metro Atlanta.

Dr. Goldstein has been on the staff at Emory Decatur Hospital and Eastside Medical Center since 2001. She has been the Chief of the Ophthalmology Department at EDH since 2016. In addition, she has served on the OR governing committees at Emory Decatur Hospital and Gwinnett Advanced Surgery Center (Northside). In 2020, she led the opening of our new East Atlanta Eye Surgery Center in Lawrenceville.

Dr. Goldstein has also been involved in many community and charitable events, including the “Night of Spectacles” for the Center for the Visually Impaired and the Senior Expo in Gwinnett. She has been involved with Second Helpings a nonprofit food rescue organization to reduce hunger in the metro Atlanta area. She is a supportive member of the Academy of Ophthalmology, Georgia Ophthalmology Association and ASCRS.

Growing up in Atlanta, Dr. Goldstein is a diehard Atlanta United Supporter and she loves the Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Falcons! In her spare time, she loves to work out, run, hike, and play tennis and support her daughters and husband.

Wow, what a great way to start off our week!!!

Our first day in the new office is officially in the books, and we couldn’t be more grateful for everyone who helped make it happen. A huge thank you to our amazing setup team, including our technicians, front desk team, doctors, and leadership who jumped in wherever they were needed to get us up and running.

And an especially BIG thank you to our patients for hanging in there with us through the printer connection battles, first-day hiccups, and all the little surprises that come with moving into a new space.

We know it wasn’t always perfectly smooth, but your patience, kindness, and understanding meant so much to us.

Welcome Cynthia M. Guerin, M.D.!
She is a board-certified, fellowship-trained, ophthalmologist specializing in the surgical and medical treatments of glaucoma and cataracts.

Dr. Guerin completed her undergraduate education at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), earning dual bachelor’s degrees in biological sciences and psychology with a minor in chemistry, and graduating with honors summa cm laude. She earned her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine, graduating with distinction in medical law and ethics. She completed her internship and ophthalmology residency at Texas Tech University, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. She concluded her training with a fellowship at Cincinnati Eye Institute, where she completed her surgical and clinical training to be an AUPO-certified glaucoma specialist.

Dr. Guerin is actively involved in advocacy through the American Academy of Ophthalmology (and previously the Texas Ophthalmological Association), working to advance patient safety, access to care and physician training. Her research portfolio includes numerous peer-reviewed publications and national presentations focused on glaucoma, pediatric ophthalmology, retinal disease and complex ocular pathology.

Dr. Guerin is passionate about delivering thoughtful, individualized care grounded in evidence-based medicine and clear patient communication. She values building long-term relationships with her patients and ensuring they feel informed, supported and confident in their treatment decisions.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys fitness, painting, baking and spending time with family and friends.

Our MARIETTA Office is Moving This Spring! 🌸

Georgia Eye Partners’ Marietta team of experienced doctors and staff will begin seeing patients in a new office this spring — conveniently located less than a mile from the current location.

The official opening date will be announced soon as construction continues. Once open, all appointments scheduled at the current Marietta office will automatically transition to the new location, and patients will be notified.

Georgia Eye Partners is pleased to be the first practice in Georgia to begin offering Epioxa, the first and only FDA-approved epithelium-on, oxygen enriched treatment for patients with Keratoconus.

Dr. Evan Schoenberg, Dr. Nichelle Warren, and Dr. Andrew Feinberg had their O2N cross-linking systems delivered and installed in December and are pleased to offer patients access to this novel therapy at both the Northside and Woodstock locations in 2026.
