Thankful to meet 78 year old Pops tonight. Been working for B.O.E almost 50 years on buses and one of the nicest and funniest guys I’ve met. He said

Good morning! I wanna thank Tawanna Tyson and the entire committee for honoring me along with all of the other deserving honorees at the 11th annual Wright Networking For Hometown Heroes. This award truly means a lot to me and I’m grateful.
Americus, I really appreciate the support that you’ve shown me since I started my business in 2019. It warmed my heart to have all of my 3 beautiful daughters/mom there with me to share this award (rest well son💙). My goal in life is simple…to make my mom proud of me and be a roll model to my children. I felt this tonight with 2 of my girls leaving remarks from the video that was shown on the screen. It meant so much to me.
I wanna thank my little big sis Ericka Lamar for coming, as well as, and helping me choose the name Glide ATL LLC. Last but not least, thank you best friend, Koreene Davis, for always showing up for me and cheering me on for many many years.
