Fulton County Contracts for Services Program

Fulton County has been working closely with the Board of Health, the Georgia Department of Public Health, the CDC, our school systems and cities in responding to COVID-19.

In the midst of our COVID-response, essential Fulton County services will continue, with some modifications taking effect immediately. For the latest updates residents are encouraged to monitor updates on the Fulton County website and social media channels, and on Fulton County Government Television.

In accordance with the guidelines for healthy operations, Fulton County Arts & Culture’s Administrative Offices are closed and our team is working remotely. All meetings have been cancelled. We understand the uncertainty posed by this situation and its negative impact on our region’s arts and cultural infrastructure. Please note that we will expedite our communications with you regarding our operations and the status of the 2020 Contracts for Services (CFS) Awards process as soon and often as we receive updates from the County’s executive offices.

If you have concerns about any programing proposed for March 2020 that is being impacted by the current public health practice, please note that when awards are announced, recipients will be allowed to update the scope of services, programmatic elements and project or operating budget information based upon the approved award amount inclusive of requests for programmatic extensions if there is a need to reschedule contracted programs. Please note that programs that have already taken place in 2020 remain eligible as reimbursable expenses under the terms of the Contract for Services.

If you have general questions about the CFS program, check out our website at www.fultonarts.org for the latest information. You can also contact the CFS team (Tasha Tavaras - [email protected] or Shantras Lakes - [email protected], directly regarding additional information on the 2020 CFS process or fiscal year 2019 final payments.

We are monitoring our email accounts daily between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and will respond within 24 hours or the next business day. Emails received late afternoons, evenings and weekends may take a little longer for us to offer a response.
Thank you for your commitment to a Vibrant Fulton County!

Welcome to the Department of Registration and Elections

In accordance with Georgia law, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners voted to approve the qualifying fee for candidates who will seek to fill the unexpired term ending Dec. 31, 2020, of the late Commissioner Emma I. Darnell, District 6. The Election Day to fill this vacancy will be Tuesday, Sept. 17, and, if necessary, the runoff will be Tuesday, Oct. 15.

“While it will be impossible to replace the late Commissioner Darnell, it is important to hold the election to fill the District 6 seat at the earliest opportunity, and I fully expect that an array of candidates will be interested,” said Fulton County Board of Commissioners’ Chairman Robb Pitts. “Until the time that a new Commissioner is elected, it will be my responsibility, along with the late Commissioner’s staff, to ensure that District 6 continues to be represented.”

The qualifying fee to run for this office has been set at $1,050. The qualifying period will be:
Monday, June 24 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday, June 25 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday, June 26 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Thursday, June 27 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
