YOU GUYS. WE'RE GETTING THEIR ATTENTION!!! 🎅🏻❤️

Reporter Kaitlyn Ross just created a feature about Santa Bradley and our mission to get him on the TODAY Show, and I need EVERYONE to help us keep this going! But friends, this is where we need to KEEP PUSHING!

We're trying to do something that goes so far beyond a TV appearance. We're trying to change the way the world sees adults with Down syndrome, disability limitations, and the opportunities they deserve to have.

SO HERE'S MY ASK:

🎅🏻 TAG in the comments of any post and tell them why you want to see Santa Bradley on their show!

❤️ SHARE THIS FEATURE! Let's get it outside our own circles and in front of people who haven't met Bradley yet.

🎄 KNOW SOMEONE WITH A CONNECTION TO NBC OR TODAY? Please send this their way or message us!

I want to see just how far we can take this when an entire community decides to show up for someone.

And I want to know: WHO'S STILL WITH US?! Drop a 🎅🏻 in the comments if you're helping us get Bradley to Rockefeller Plaza!

WE CAN DO THIS!!! ❤️

Santa Bradley has a BIG Christmas wish, and it would be pretty wonderful if we could help make it come true! 🎅❤️

Bradley Carlisle has Down syndrome, a love for Christmas, and a dream of becoming a professional Santa!

He recently graduated from the Northern Lights Santa Academy and celebrated his very first official Santa meet-and-greet this weekend!

Now his friends and family have an even bigger goal: Get Santa Bradley on the TODAY Show this Christmas!

And what a wonderful story that would be!

Bradley is a grown man with his own dreams and ambitions.

He’s worked hard to become Santa, and he deserves every opportunity to do something he loves.

That’s what inclusion should look like.

Not just making room for people with disabilities, but encouraging them to dream as big as they want!

My dear friend Elizabeth of Jude & Jojo’s Photography captured this beautiful picture of Bradley, and now it’s time to help his story reach even more people!

Can we get Santa Bradley on TODAY?! 🎄

Tag the TODAY Show, share his story, and help this wonderful man make his Christmas wish come true! ❤️

UPDATE: WE'RE LOSING MOMENTUM, AND WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🎅❤️

Santa Bradley's story has reached thousands of people and sparked something we never could have imagined. An entire community of professional Santas, families, and disability advocates and organizations are coming together to call for greater representation and inclusion during the holiday season. But our reach is starting to slow, and this conversation is FAR from over.

PLEASE KEEP SHARING, COMMENTING, AND TAGGING! Every interaction helps us reach another family, another Santa, another organization, and another person who has the ability to make a difference.

We've already seen what happens when a community comes together. Now let's make sure this story keeps reaching the people who need to see it.

Bradley made history. Let's make sure he's not the last.

HELP US GET SANTA BRADLEY ON Today Show ! 🎅🏻 Okay, y’all. It’s time we pull ourselves together and get the big guy national!!!

This weekend, Bradley celebrated his very FIRST official Santa meet-and-greet after training with the Northern Lights Santa Academy, and now we’re setting our sights on something a little bigger.

WE WANT TO GET Bradley Carlisle ON TODAY THIS CHRISTMAS!

Imagine, when we talk about inclusion for individuals with Down syndrome; we’re usually talking about education, employment, or simply being welcomed into spaces that everyone else has access to. And while all of those things are incredibly important, I think we sometimes forget to talk about something else. The FREEDOM to dream big and actually be taken seriously (read that again).

Bradley has Down syndrome. He’s also a grown man who knows what he loves, has goals of his own, and is putting in the work to pursue them and I think there’s something pretty awesome about a man with Down syndrome stepping into one of the most recognizable roles in the world and showing us that maybe it’s time we reconsider what we’ve always pictured.

I don’t want Bradley to be celebrated only because he has Down syndrome and wears a Santa suit. I want him to be celebrated because he’s doing something he loves, he’s good at it, and he deserves the same opportunities to pursue it as anyone else.

We’ve seen what happens when communities rally behind someone. We’ve seen stories go viral, strangers come together, and opportunities open up because enough people decided something was worth sharing. SO WHY NOT BRADLEY?

I truly believe we can get his story in front of the right people, but we’re going to need your help!

🎅🏻 Tag in the comments.

❤️ Share this post to your stories, your Facebook, your friends, EVERYWHERE!

🎄 Tell people about Santa Bradley and why his story matters.

Today was SOOO much more than our first round of Santa minis. It was a moment in history for Bradley Carlisle , the Northern Lights Santa Academy , the Santa community around the world, and most importantly, the Down syndrome community. ❤️

After months of preparation and becoming a professionally trained Santa through the Northern Lights Santa Academy, Bradley officially held his very first Santa meet & greet today!

Y’all… I don’t think I can fully put into words how special it was to be there with he and his mama!

For me, one of the most beautiful parts of today was knowing what this moment represents. Bradley isn’t just bringing Christmas magic to families, he is quite literally challenging what people believe adults with Down syndrome can do, what opportunities they deserve, and the spaces they belong in.

We at JJP are incredibly grateful to have been part of this milestone, and I hope Bradley knows just how many people are cheering him on. I told him, we’re going to take over the world one day 😉.

I’ll be sharing some behind-the-scenes from our morning soon. I can’t wait for you all to see! ❤️

xoxo,
Elizabeth

What if something as simple as a room could change a family’s everyday life?

Dylan lives with MECP2 Duplication Syndrome, a rare genetic condition that has brought increasingly complex medical needs as he’s grown. He’s hospital-homebound, and his mom is his sole caregiver. Right now, Dylan’s bedroom is where he sleeps, attends school, receives therapy, and spends much of his day.

But thanks to our friends at Sunshine On A Ranney Day | Charity , that’s about to change.

Dylan is getting a dedicated therapy room! A space designed around his medical, developmental, and sensory needs. Somewhere he can work toward his goals, enjoy the things he loves, and have a little more room to simply be a kid.

When I asked his mom what she was most excited about, she told me it was the built-in cabinet for his medical supplies. Something so ordinary to most of us, yet something that could make an enormous difference in her day.

And I think that’s what makes this project so special. It’s not just about creating a beautiful room. It’s about recognizing the little things that can make life easier for a family who has spent years adapting to circumstances most of us will never experience.

We’re incredibly grateful to partner with Sunshine on a Ranney Day to share Dylan’s story and help rally support for his build.

And we’d love for you to be part of it!

Head to the link in our bio to read Dylan’s full story and learn how you can help bring his new therapy room to life. Sometimes changing someone’s world starts with making a little more room for them.

IS THE JJP CREW FOR YOU? 🤍

If you're new here, we're so glad you found us! When Jude&Jojos was created, the vision was always bigger than taking beautiful portraits of individuals with disabilities. We wanted those portraits to do something.

We wanted them to start conversations, challenge stereotypes, introduce people to individuals and families they might never otherwise have the opportunity to know. And MOST importantly, we wanted to build something that would still matter years from now.

So, what exactly does it mean to join the JJP Crew?

First, you're getting a full portrait experience! While you mostly see our signature individual portraits shared online, your gallery includes so much more. Family portraits, sibling photos, individual portraits of family members, and all the candid moments in between. These are YOUR memories, and we want you to have them.

But beyond the photographs, there's a much bigger purpose. When you join, you have the opportunity to share your story in whatever way feels right for your family. You can celebrate milestones, talk about your mountains and valleys, recognize organizations that have supported you, or simply introduce the world to someone you love. Your feature also has the potential to reach beyond our own community through outside media opportunities, collaborations, and partnerships. And as we grow, so will the special opportunities available to our Crew families.

But here's what we really want you to understand.

We're not building a collection of photographs. We're building a community of people who, together, can help change the way disability is seen, understood, and represented. Because the little girl whose portrait we share today will grow up. The little boy whose story we tell today will become an adult. And we want the world they're growing into to look different from the one they were born into.

We want future generations to grow up seeing disability represented in everyday life, in advertising, in the media, in their communities, and in places where representation has historically been missing. That kind of change doesn't happen overnight... it happens when we keep showing up, keep sharing, and keep making space for people to be seen.

That's what being part of the JJP Crew means to us.

And once you're Crew, you're always Crew. 🤍

If this sounds like something you'd love to be part of, send us a message. We'd love to welcome you!

Nearly every person who dies from breast cancer dies because it became metastatic. And somehow, that’s the part of breast cancer we probably know the least about.

It’s October, which means pink ribbons are everywhere for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. After meeting Lyn and hearing her story, I realized how little I actually knew about stage 4 metastatic breast cancer and how badly we need to be talking about it.

Lyn is 42, married to her best friend, and has two kids who she fully plans on watching grow up. Almost a year ago, she had a mammogram and was given the all-clear. A couple of months later, she felt something in her other breast. By Christmas, it had grown so much she couldn't comfortably lay on her stomach. Then came the diagnosis, followed by the news that it had already spread to her liver.

She told me it went from “I can beat this” to “How many years can I get?”

Lyn wants the years most of us just assume we're going to get. She wants to see who her kids become. She wants to see her husband with wrinkles and gray hair. And as she put it, “Hell, I want to see ME with wrinkles and gray hair.”

And right now, she has some pretty incredible news.

Lyn is in remission.

When we talked about sharing her story, though, she wanted to make sure we talked about more than the good news. Her cancer wasn't linked to a known inherited genetic mutation. She had recently had a normal mammogram, and she wants women to know that if something in your body changes, YOU make the call. She also wants more people to understand metastatic breast cancer and why research specifically for stage 4 matters so much.

So for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, her's is the story I want to share.

Her full feature is live now, along with a link to support metastatic breast cancer research.
