Welp, Thanksgiving is over and now what? 🤷🏾‍♀️

Its time⏳ to get back on track! Here's a few things you can do to RESET and feel better by the end of the week. Let's Go!

1. Recomit and Don't look back.🙌🏿 Life happens and so do the holidays. Don't beat yourself up over indulging in food/treats just understand its time to get back on track.

2. D🚫n't step on the scale. The scale is only going to tell you what you already suspect and possibly demotivate you. Instead, use your clothes to gauge initial changes and focus on your fitness and nutrition goals.

3. Set a FITNESS goal. 🏃🏾‍♀️ Start with a small goal that you can achieve over the next week. For example, I will exercise 30-45 mins at least 5 days this week. Then keep going!

4. Meal Prep. 🍽 The most important thing you can do is focus on eating as clean as possible. The best way to do that is to eat what you prep. Limit fast, fried, and junk food as much as possible. Create a meal plan for the week and commit to it to maximize the results you will see.

5. Hydrate! 💦Drink water like someone is paying you to do so! Drink at least 64-100oz of water each day to jump start your metabolism, flush out toxins, and get rid of that belly bloat. Limit juices, sugary, or carbonated drinks, as they can make you feel bloated and carry water weight.

I knooooow I've been gone awhile but I have been working hard behind the scenes to prepare for my competition and I grabbed 5th Place in the 40+ Category. (Countdown to 42 in 3 days!!)😁

Its so exciting to see the results of all those early mornings, late nights, and hours of training and cardio that I put in. And during a Pandemic too!! While I am definitely proud of myself there's still much work to do. And I'm 100% committed to getting it done. So, let's go!!🔥

Add this {Total Body} move with a focus on the shoulders, rear delts, quads, and b***y to your workout routine. 🙌🏾

Grab light weights or no weights, band or no band, the choice is yours! I am using 10lbs with medium resistance bands.👍🏾

Perform this move for 30 secs rest 15 secs and then do the other side. Repeat 2x.

So I am new to meal planning and with 5 kids my budget is TIGHT...Question: when it comes to veggies...I know fresh is best...but if for some reason I can not purchase fresh or frozen at that particular time...is canned ok?
I began my fitness journey in January 2015 and had reached my goal weight by October. I’ve been focusing more on toning since then. My weight went back up once I started lifting weights and I got discouraged. I have now learned to embrace my body regardless of what the scale says. I haven’t lost any more weight according to the scale but my pant sizes are steady dropping, so I’ll take that! #TransformationTuesday

My first time meal prepping. Haven't done it before because I just can't stand eating the same thing every day. A total of three different dishes I made that are all freezer friendly. These will last me about two weeks if I don't get bored somewhere along the line. I will make my salads tomorrow for my lunches . I do not use recipes. But can tell you what the ingredients are if interested.
