NeuroTrials Research

NeuroTrials Research NeuroTrials Research has conducted more than 225 clinical trials on over 3,000 volunteers throughout the Atlanta metro area. Founded in 1997, NeuroTrials Research began as a study site in north Atlanta.

In the years since our founding, NeuroTrials has grown to include investigational drug and device research with a focus in the central nervous system. Our spacious, state-of-the-art facility is conveniently located near three of North Atlanta’s major hospital systems and is in walking distance of rapid transit (MARTA). Today, we have conducted more than 175 clinical trials on over 2,500 volunteers

Is it hard for you to get to bed at a decent time every night? Then once you fall asleep, it’s hard to wake up on time.

Neurotrials Research is conducting a new research study on the efficacy and safety of a daily single oral dose of an investigational drug for adults having difficulty getting to bed on time.

To prequalify, participants must be between the ages of 18 to 65, have difficulty getting to bed at a normal bedtime, have no other sleep disorders such as insomnia, narcolepsy, or sleep apnea, and be in general good health. Reimbursement for time and travel may be provided for those who qualify and participate.

Participate in research; find out how you can help. Get started today. Call 404-851-9934 now or go to www.neurotrials.com.

Diagnosed with Restless Leg Syndrome?

Did you know that research shows that ripened bananas are found to contain magnesium, potassium, and a natural form of dopamine? These substances work together and may be a significant help in relieving your restless leg syndrome (RLS) symptoms. Studies show that magnesium and potassium operate by decreasing inflammation in your veins and arteries and increasing overall relaxation. In addition, bananas are a superb source of potassium, which plays a significant role in sending nerve impulses and helping your muscles to move.

If you are diagnosed with restless leg syndrome, we are currently looking for volunteers for a research study assessing an investigational device for the treatment of individuals with moderate to severe RLS. If you are 22 to 79 years of age, have a diagnosis of RLS, have an incomplete response to current treatment for RLS, show symptoms two or more nights per week, experience symptoms that begin 2 hours before and or during bedtime, and are otherwise in general good health.

To learn more about this study and to see if you qualify, visit www.neurotrials.com or call 404-851-9934.

Hi everyone, I'm Dr. Russell Rosenberg, Chief Science Officer at Neurotrials Research, www.neurotrials.com. Did you know Sodium Oxybate has been a terrific treatment option for many narcoleptics? The traditional treatment regime involves two doses, one at bedtime and the other a few hours later.

We are currently conducting a trial with a new formulation that requires only a ONCE a night dosing. Everyone who enrolls will get the actual medication, no placebo. If this study is of interest or if you want to learn more about other narcolepsy studies we are enrolling for, call 404.851.9934.

Narcolepsy Treatment and Pregnancy

There is not a great deal of information on the safety of most drugs used to treat Narcolepsy in women who are pregnant, trying to get pregnant, or breastfeeding. The majority of experts recommend stopping Narcolepsy medications when trying to conceive, during pregnancy, and breastfeeding. Discontinuing medication may require changes to behavioral approaches and other accommodations to safely cope with symptoms without medication during pregnancy.

If this information interests you, join Drs Russell Rosenberg with Neurotrials Research and Heidi Rainey with Fusion Sleep as they discuss managing Narcolepsy during pregnancy on June 23 @ 7:30 PM via Zoom or Facebook Live. Use the link below to register.

Restless Legs Syndrome and Narcolepsy

Restless legs syndrome (RLS), also called Willis-Ekbom Disease, causes unpleasant or uncomfortable sensations in the legs and an irresistible urge to move them. Symptoms commonly occur in the late afternoon or evening hours, and are often most severe at night when a person is resting, such as sitting or lying in bed. The sensations can be so intense and uncomfortable that getting to sleep can be extremely difficult. Narcoleptics need to recognize this disorder and speak to their sleep specialist so that proper treatment can be considered. Drs. Lacey and Rosenberg will discuss current medical treatment approaches for this disorder.
