Hey fam! Come out and help shape the future Forensic Peer Mentor Training for the of Georgia! I hope to see some familiar faces!!!

We are eager to hear from Georgians about how an expanded forensic peer mentor program can better benefit communities, families, and individuals across the state.

We hope you will join us as we launch a series of listening sessions to learn from Georgia's communities what they need to improve the lives of our justice-involved citizens, including those who are returning to their communities from correctional facilities.

Our next listening session will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 6:30pm - 7:30pm at the Holiday Inn Augusta West I-20 located at 441 Park West Drive, Grovetown, GA 30813

We need to hear from:
Justice-involved citizens (current and former)
Peers
Allies
Family members
Veterans
Law enforcement
Judiciary
Community and civic leaders
Politicians
Faith groups
Behavioral health providers
All Certified Peer Specialists
Anyone who has been directly or indirectly impacted by involvement with the criminal justice system.

Join YPR-Augusta every Sunday from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Beasley Broadcasting for our weekly All Recovery Meeting in partnership with Focus on Recovery! Whether you're young in age, young in recovery, or young at heart, you're welcome to attend!

All Recovery Meetings are not affiliated with any 12 Step group. We are open to all seeking to enter and sustain recovery from any substance. It is an open discussion format. These meetings will take place weekly in the conference room at Beasley Broadcasting in their main conference room. The meeting will run consecutively with the on air broadcast of The First Step Radio show with Judge Watkins.
