These are our favorite N95 masks that we wear in public because they are just SO fashionable and flattering. Don’t you think?!

Do we like wearing them? Nope. Sure don’t...

Do we wear them anyway? Yep!

Are masks the cure for our situation? No, but they help. Just like wearing a seatbelt. Seatbelts don’t always save people in car accidents...but they help. The cost of being wrong is just too high.

FLUFF YOUR BOWS FRIENDS!!!

No one likes a wonky bow...especially on a Christmas tree or present. They need to be primped and fluffed to perfection so they can do what bows do best...make things special and pretty.

DEAR LITTLE WHITNEY,

Listen, things might look different this year for Christmas...

I know I know... typically we’re going to see the Nutcracker, having themed parties, and getting together A LOT with friends and family. There’s usually a lot of hugging and kissing going on...And I know you like all that and NEED it.

This year I’m going to need more help than usual from you Little Whit Whit. Let’s make every effort for things to FEEL the same even though they may LOOK different...

Let’s remember the MAGIC of the season. Come on...you know exactly what I’m talking about...it’s the same feeling you had when you sat on Santa’s lap when you were 5...just like in this picture.

The smell of apple cider, the taste of peppermint sticks, feeding the reindeer, doing random acts of kindness, making ornaments, wearing Christmas sweaters, looking for Christmas lights, decorating the tree, and trying your damndest to stay awake on Christmas Eve to catch a peak at Santa leaving presents under the tree...

It may LOOK different and we may not be able to do all the things you want to do...

But that’s ok... Let’s create our own silver linings and fight for our joy this season little one! We’re going to get creative and make new traditions!

A Lot of times we don’t really know what we want or need when we’re going through 💩...

Those that are fighting with you are fighting their own fight too. They may not show it or maybe they show it in unhealthy ways, but this whole cancer thing is painful for everyone involved.

My Boobie King always tries to assess my needs. That’s how HE fights this fight. He can’t do it for me...but he can help me do what I need to do so I can fight my own battles.

Today he’s cutting my chemo hair. And that’s all I needed for today...
