Maybe you don’t need another budget.

Because I’ve definitely had the cute spreadsheet, the categories, the whole little financial makeover…and still didn’t have a system I could maintain. 😂
Getting financially fit has become much less about being perfect with money and much more about understanding it.

For the first time this year, I registered for my monthly 5K…and chose not to go.
Was I annoyed about losing the money? Absolutely. 😂
But a registration fee wasn’t enough to make me ignore the fact that I personally didn’t feel comfortable running with flood warnings happening around us.
So Race #10 is going to look a little different.
I’m running it virtually this week. 🏃🏾‍♀️
The goal hasn’t changed. The plan did.
And apparently Race Every Month still has a few plot twists left for me. 😅

Nine 5Ks into this year and I finally made the list I kept saying I’d make.
Thigh Rescue, flowy shorts, my Shokz and my vest. Nothing fancy. Just the stuff that stops me from fighting my own body and my clothes for three miles.
