Doctor of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine, California Board Certified Licensed Acupuncturist, Certified Tai-Chi, Qi-Gong & Meditation Instructor, a faculty member at Yo San University, a Lifestyle Coach & an Inspirational Speaker sharing her knowledge and wisdom on conscious living.
At a young age, Bita and her family moved from Iran and planted their roots in Los Angeles, California. Bita’s passion for learning and teaching began to sprout, and she continued her education at UCLA, where she graduated with a B.A. in Sociology and Education.
In 2013, Bita graduated from Yo San University with a Master’s Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, and Eastern Nutrition and became a California Board Certified Licensed Acupuncturist. Bita is so passionate about this true healing empowerment that she continued her education at Yo San University to pursue a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) with a specialty in Anti-Aging and Healthy Living, graduating in 2016.
Bita’s devotion to educate and help others continues to grow and evolve. Currently, Bita is a Yo San University faculty member, sees patients in her Beverly Hills office, is a practicing Lifestyle Coach, and is a Certified Instructor teaching private classes of movement art forms: Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and Meditation. Bita is also a recurrent Qi Gong instructor at Tao of Wellness Detox Retreats. Bita holds a special place for children and educates elementary age students about Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, and Tai Chi. She demonstrates a specific art-form move to the students and helps get them in touch with themselves and their feelings to better manage issues, such as test stress, anger, anxiety, restlessness, and hyperactivity.
With a strong focus on health and wellness of the whole person—physical, spiritual, and emotional—Bita specializes in male and female issues, such as hormonal and aging issues, insomnia, depression, anxiety, digestive issues, weight management, stress management, pain management, sports injuries, colds & flus and prevention.
Bita’s passion is to teach health and wellness of the mind, body, and spirit through an integrative approach of Eastern & Functional medicine infused with Ancient Wisdom and Love!
“My desire is for people to know that they have the power within themselves to be the best, healthiest, and highest version of themselves—physically, spiritually, and emotionally. It is never too late; you are never too old; and nothing is impossible.”
With Love,
Dr. B
