A capsulectomy was performed by removing excess scar tissue around the saline implant, and the old implant was replaced with a silicone one. Saline implants are often linked to Capsular Contracture, a condition where scar tissue forms tightly around the implant, causing discomfort and altering appearance. After carefully cleaning the pocket, we removed the capsule and replaced the implant, giving the patient a fresh, natural look and feel. 💪✨ A major part of @DrJPlasticSurgery’s practice is focused on revision surgeries and complex cases referred by other Plastic Surgeons, ensuring the best outcomes for patients facing complications or seeking reconstruction.

💼 As a double board-certified surgeon (certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery), Dr. J can perform an umbilical hernia repair simultaneously with a Tummy Tuck.
An umbilical hernia occurs when part of the intestine protrudes through the umbilical opening in the abdominal muscles, often causing a visible bulge near the belly button. Sometimes, however, an umbilical hernia isn’t as noticeable and requires a proper diagnosis. Dr. J can typically identify an umbilical hernia during your consultation and repair it during the Tummy Tuck procedure.
In this patient’s case, her hernia was significant and required a detailed repair in three layers, ensuring both health and aesthetic improvements. Want to see the process? Check out the carousel of videos to learn more!
Dr. J always ensures the best repair possible by correcting the hernia and performing muscle plication over it.
The best first step is to schedule your personal consultation, where we can thoroughly evaluate and clarify the type of hernia and the most effective treatment for you.

About 20 lbs of fat and skin removed in one session. 😊😳
The weight of the skin flap always varies depending on the amount of skin removed, the thickness of the skin and a variety of factors. It can be anywhere from 2 pounds to 17, roughly speaking. ABDOMINOPLASTY is designed to remove any excess, hanging, loose skin and tighten the abdominal muscles, but it is not a weight loss procedure.
Take a moment to listen to our lovely patient’s testimonial. It’s an honor to be your surgeon, and I’m deeply grateful for your friend’s referral. Serving this community fills me with immense joy, and the most rewarding part of plastic surgery is helping my patients regain their confidence.
What was your dream job when you were a kid?

What are the options for breast augmentation?
There are two main types of breast augmentation: breast implants and fat transfer augmentation. You can choose your type of augmentation based on how you want your breasts to look and feel, and which option you’re the best candidate for.
Fat transfer to the breasts depends on how much fat you have. However, the fat absorption rate in the breast is higher. A thorough consultation is always best to discuss all individual options.
Many patients prefer to augment with an implant as it is more predictable. Fat in the breast does not act the same as fat in the buttock and can lead to a result that’s not quite as even and predictable as an implant.
Those patients who don’t want larger breasts tend to opt for smaller implants and a lift.
