A clean and orderly bathroom is constantly at the top of my “to do” list.

The 9 of us share two bathrooms!! I’m sure I don’t have to explain to you the hits these two rooms take daily!

However, I absolutely love a luxurious, warm bath at the end of the day. So, even though our bathrooms are old, I’m finally learning how to work with what I’ve got, and keep them clean. (With the help of my daughters of course, sweet angels that they are!) and my #norwex bathroom scrub mitt, plus a little baking soda and hydrogen peroxide.

After the scene has been set, add some essential oils, candles for mood lighting.... and all is well in the world. I’m on my way to soaking away the stress of the day.

Even if your space is old, you can still make it nice....💕 You deserve it....

However, this also means nothing to me as I’ve already spent most of the year being naughty! 🤣

For me, the answer is farm animals!!
🐄 🐓 🐐 🐖

As a kid my dad taught many beautiful, hard, and lasting life lessons through the rhythms and care of animals. Lessons I’ll carry with me through the rest of my life..... And now, there’s not a barn big enough for all the animals I’d love to have.

In fact I’m still choosing to learn lessons in the barnyard, even though these large and small animals can be messy and are consistently a lot of work....

Ultimately they bring joy...

I’m so sorry, but We haven’t even gotten to Thanksgiving Day yet.... Yet the number of people trying to sell me something online is insane. Or maybe it’s just me?!?!

We went to Costco last night, (dare I admit we started Christmas shopping.) 🎄

At the check out we put our card in the card reader and prepared to grab our reciept. Except instead of our receipt the cashier said we owed $51 more dollars....
Josh looked at me and said “Seriously! I just deposited $1000 in this account!” But sure enough the balance was zero. He quickly transferred more money in and we finished our check out.

You know what this is called?!?! It’s called nickel and diming.... We literally blew through a $1000’s grocery shopping, putting gas in the car, paying the electric bill, buying dog food, etc....

As I mopped the living room floor this morning, preparing for our new sofa to be delivered, I mumbled under my breath..... “You know what NEVER nickels and dimes me..... Norwex!”

I just celebrated my 5 year anniversary with Norwex.... And this mop came free with my consultant package. It still works today as wonderful as it did the day I unwrapped it. And think of all the chemical exposure I’ve dodged over those same 5 years! #norwex #justaddwater #safe #saves #sustainable

Welcome to November!

Ohhhh, my old friend November… We have a beautiful love/hate relationship!
I LOVE the brilliant sunsets in November, the falling leaves, and bonfires in the backyard (minus the mosquitoes.)

What I’m not a huge fan of, is freezing cold rain, blustery wind storms, kids covered in mud, and endless laundry piles....😩

definitely not a fan of the endless laundry piles....😭

However, speaking of laundry, I can’t help but LOVE my Norwex laundry soap. For the last five years, whenever it goes on sale I STOCK UP! Seriously STOCK UP, because I love the feeling of not running out, and also now because of the year #2020! 🥴

We only buy used cars that we can pay cash for. It’s just a thing we’ve done for years.

It doesn’t always work out for us, but usually when we buy a GMC, it works out.😂 These cars/trucks are work horses, and will literally run forever. Believe me, we’ve got two with almost 300,000 miles on them parked in the garage running strong!

We bid on this Denali sight unseen at an online auction. 60,000 miles on a rebuilt engine and transmission. Owned by a little ol’ grandma. The auction house could have been a little more honest with they’re pictures.😎 But we’re just going with it!

We figured out how to replace the rusty rocker panels (which seems to be an issue with suburbans). But it needed a major CLEAN to get the rust stains off the white running boards.

I only showed one little areas. The entire running board was stained!!

My husband lost his mind when I sent him this video... 😂

Yesterday I sent my husband a message... It read, “Thank You for this amazing life, thank you for allowing me the flexibility to be home sharing my “everydays” with these kids, and supporting me in this crazy adventure, allowing me the flexibility to work on my terms.”

Norwex has given me financial wiggle room, and the flexibility to be home with my kids. This is one perk I’m super grateful for, more now then ever.... sometimes I see my younger kids struggling with current world events, and there’s nowhere else I’d rather be.

I’m still obsessing over Norwex Microfiber! Even after all these years. It may seem silly, but when I think about it, it’s been such a huge money saver, and I can’t believe the things I’v gotten clean with just water!

There’s nothing better than getting all my work done around here, so I can spend Friday’s with my husband!! Here’s a cheer to the beginning of a long weekend...

Doing #allthethings isn’t necessarily the objective, the objective is to share the love, and experience joy, but it can be exhausting especially when we give ourselves crazy lists and ridiculous deadlines.

Autumn is vibrant, and colorful, and lovely. It’s all the things .... It’s a season embraced by many as their absolute favorite, but I know I can’t be alone when I say... I’m just not ready to let go of summer...

When plans unravel...

Anyone else ever have a perfect plan unravel?

Wow, I can think of a big one...

We needed to do fence repair around here before winter sets in, while up against conflicting schedules, deadlines, flat tires, and endless work, somehow we managed to spend a sunny weekend repairing and replacing a good majority of it. Sunday evening rolled around, we were sun burned, sore, and exhausted, but looked over our work and sighed with relief. Monday morning...... one of the goats tried jumping over it, (this was a major reason why we needed to fix it in the first place!) only this new fence didn’t bend and give like the old one, and she broke her leg!! Seriously..... 😬

The good news is, she seems comfortable now. The vet reset the break, and put a cast on it.... Only time will tell how it will heal, however this old time vet said “if the bones are in the same room, they’ll heal) For now we’re remaining positive....

Things You won’t have to buy anymore thanks to reduced waste living, and Norwex...
