Meet Leen Abaza leen_into_love 💫 our featured dancer at ACACIA!

Syrian-born Circassian folk dancer Leen began her journey with a cultural Circassian dance group, first in Syria and later in the US, performing with the Nart’s Dance Ensemble in New Jersey for over 6 years. From there she expanded into ecstatic dance and ballroom, and her path led her to Sufism and the whirling practice, which she has embraced as a way of drawing closer in harmony with creation. 🌀

For Leen, dance is more than movement. It’s an art form through which she expresses her love for culture, music and the shared human experience in orbit with the divine. ✨
