Yesterday, I had the pleasure of being part of the SheRises Retreat, both as a participant and as a practitioner, sharing a sound bath with an incredible group of women.

It was a beautiful day filled with connection, reflection, support, and opportunities to step away from the demands of everyday life and focus on ourselves.

Being able to share something I love while also taking the time to experience the retreat for myself made the day even more meaningful.

I want to extend a very special thank you to Amanda for the incredible amount of heart, dedication, and thought she put into creating this retreat. Bringing women together in a space where they can feel welcomed, supported, and empowered is something truly special. Amanda, your passion for uplifting others shines through in everything you do, and I am so grateful you invited me to be part of such a meaningful day.

And to the amazing women pictured with me, I am so grateful for the connections we’ve made. Being surrounded by women who genuinely encourage, inspire, and support one another is something I truly value.

This Sunday, give yourself an hour to unwind.

When was the last time you allowed yourself to slow down, let go of the stress, and simply relax?

Join me at Jazzercise Brunswick/Strongsville this Sunday, October 11, at 2 PM for a relaxing sound bath experience.

Through the soothing vibrations of crystal singing bowls and other sound healing instruments, you’ll have an opportunity to release tension, quiet the mental noise, and reconnect with yourself.

No experience is necessary. Just come as you are, get comfortable, and allow yourself this time.

Tickets are $30 per person, and space is limited.

One thing I’ve learned in business is that not everyone who stands beside you is truly supporting you.

Some people are happy to accept your support, your referrals, your encouragement, your ideas, and your energy, but rarely return that same support.

And sometimes, people in similar businesses aren’t watching because they’re cheering you on. They’re watching what you create, how you present it, what you offer, and quietly taking pieces of it for themselves.

There comes a point when you have to recognize the difference between community and convenience.

Supporting others should never mean allowing yourself to be used. Being kind doesn’t require unlimited access to you, your ideas, or what you’ve worked hard to build.

You can wish people well and still create distance.

You can support other businesses and still protect your own.

And you can quietly close a door without creating a scene.

Sometimes growth looks like realizing who genuinely supports you, who only shows up when it benefits them, and who no longer deserves a front row seat to what you’re building.

Protect your energy. Protect your work. Keep moving forward.
