Devin reached out wanting an American traditional sleeve, and I couldn’t wait to pitch him this framed sleeve concept.
He sent over a handful of traditional pieces he wanted to incorporate for a Coast Guard theme, and once he saw my idea, he gave me full creative freedom.
The conception and layout ended up being the hardest part. I wanted to build large, overlapping frames while making sure every piece stayed readable and visible from a distance.
We’re stoked with how this is coming together. Over the next few sessions, we’ll start packing in the blacks, shading, and background to bring the whole thing together.
