The Pettit Environmental Preserve open hike Saturday. July 13th Saturday from 9-5. Last hike at 4:00. Pet friendly on leash, no charge, donations accepted. Approximately 3miles of trails, restrooms, nature center with great exhibits of native animals in the area.

This is what tomorrow will look like for our 2nd Saturday open hike at The Pettit Preserve. Come hike the trails around the lake from 9:00-5:00, last hike at 4:00. Bring a picnic, bug spray, camera, hiking or tennis shoes and enjoy nature at its best! Dog friendly on a leash. No charge, but donations accepted!

If you attended the Women's Expo in 2023 and were one of the first 300 people at the door, then you got a treat: Mama Geraldine's Cheese Straws! We were so thankful to have Cathy's partnership in our celebration of 15 (!) years and so saddened to hear of the fire that happened not long after.

Be sure to check with your grocery store to see if Mama Geraldine's Cheese Straws are back on the shelves. Show Cathy and her great employees some love. Let's leave the shelves empty!

Women's Expo Followers: Our friends at LIVE2540 need our help. During the month of May, every dollar donated or spent on-line or in the shop "Under the Bridge" in downtown Cartersville will be matched by an anonymous donor up to $100,000.

This organization provides nutrition, education, and healthcare for children in Liberia. This May Challenge will fund critical surgeries for these children.
