Three sites. Three cities’ stories, still being built.

The Edison in Salt Lake City. WonderBlock in Ogden. 9th Note on North Temple.

This is what happens between the rendering and the ribbon cutting. This is the Art of the Build.

A few blocks west of downtown, on the street that’s becoming Salt Lake’s next neighborhood.

9th Note, 110 homes on North Temple, opening 2027. Framing and electrical this month.

Some buildings want to be noticed. The Franklin would rather be lived in.

Just off Orchard Street, 205 homes built around what matters. Well-made and unfussy, and the first community built through Boise’s Housing Land Trust.

Its personality? The quiet one at the table who turns out to be the most dependable person you know.

The Franklin — Boise. Income restrictions apply. Equal Housing Opportunity.

Four job sites, one month.

WonderBlock in Ogden, where the top-floor apartments in Building D are finished.

The Edison in Salt Lake, where the towers are framed and drywall is going up.

9th Note in Salt Lake, where crews are working on framing and electrical.

Dorado Station in Boise, where all five floors are nearly framed.

Different crews, same standard, four addresses. Built with purpose, one floor at a time.

This is the Art of the Build.

100% occupancy at EngineHouse in less than a year! 👏🏻 👏🏻

A number like that says less about the building & more about what the community actually needs. That’s exactly what we build here at J. Fisher…

There’s a version of a building you can see in renderings, and a version you can only see with your boots in the dirt walking the site yourself.

Like the light through a 6th floor window that doesn’t have glass yet. Or the spiral staircase in the unfinished penthouses. Or the dust on a hard hat before the paint goes on.

This is the art of the build at The Edison.

Ogden is growing. The question is whether the people who make the city run can still afford to live there.

25th & Quincy is our answer. A brand new 5 story apartment community on Ogden’s east bench, designed and built to the same high standards as everything J. Fisher Companies develops.

Because great cities are built on homes people can afford. In Ogden, that’s exactly what we’re doing.

On any given afternoon at WonderBlock, there are dozens of people working across the floors of a building that didn’t exist two years ago.

Six floors up, those crews have finished the first apartments that will have residents loading in their furniture in just a few short months — floors down, cabinets in, appliances set, Ben Lomond framed in the windows.

This is what a project this size looks like from the inside. The finished apartments on the top floor exist because of the people on the scaffolding below them, and every floor between the two is getting closer.

The story of this block has always been about the people who built it.

It still is.

Crews broke ground in Boise on October 9, 2025. Ten months later, Dorado Station is six stories of structure with 212 apartment homes framed out, and electrical, plumbing, and mechanical rough-in advancing floor by floor.

Façade work is next, then interiors.

Milestones like this belong to the people who hang their hard hats on the wall every morning — our field teams and trade partners who have kept this project moving on schedule through a full Idaho winter. Thank you!
