💜🧡 INVISIBLE DISABILITIES WEEK | OCTOBER 18–24, 2026 🧡💜
From Hezzy the Epilepsy Warrior, we’re spreading a message that every child and family deserves to hear: Just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean it isn’t there.
Epilepsy can be invisible. ADHD can be invisible. Many neurological, neurodevelopmental, mental health, chronic, and physical conditions can be invisible—and the person living with them may be working harder than anyone realizes just to make it through an ordinary day.
For Hezzy, epilepsy became part of his journey, but it has never become his identity. 💜 He’s still smart. Still funny. Still learning. Still dreaming. Still achieving. Still growing into an amazing young man.
And that’s why awareness matters.
💜 Purple represents our fight for Epilepsy Awareness.
🧡 Orange represents our support for ADHD Awareness.
This week, we challenge everyone to:
🤝 Believe people when they tell you what they’re experiencing.
💜 Offer understanding instead of judgment.
🫂 Be inclusive even when someone’s needs are different.
🫶🏾 Respect boundaries and accommodations.
👑 Recognize the strength it sometimes takes just to keep going.
Teach our children that being different does not mean being less.
Different challenges. Same worth. Different experiences. Equal dignity. 💜🧡
From our family to yours, continue choosing compassion over assumptions, education over ignorance, and inclusion over judgment.
