💜 What an incredible day for our community!

Yesterday, our community came together for the Charlottesville Walk to End Alzheimer’s, bringing together local vendors, community partners, advocates, and supporters united by one important cause.

The Charlottesville-Albemarle Senior Networking Group is proud to highlight the many community partners who serve not only our senior community but also as committee members with the Alzheimer’s Association, helping raise awareness and support those affected by Alzheimer’s disease.

A special shout-out to Sheri Owen,Senior Development Manager with the Alzheimer’s Association, Central & Western Virginia Chapter, for her dedication and leadership in bringing our community together for this important mission! 💜

We are grateful for the partnerships, collaboration, and commitment that make our community stronger. Together, we can make a difference in the fight to end Alzheimer’s!

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of attending the Fish Fry at Our Lady of Peace Retirement Community with fellow committee members, and what a wonderful event it was! 🐟💜

A HUGE shout-out to Lori and Dana for the amazing job they did with their team and their facility to put on such a fantastic Fish Fry! You could truly see the time, effort, and teamwork that went into making the event so special.

And another shout-out to Sheri Owen, our Walk Manager! Not only did she spend the day working on the ALZ flower gardens at numerous locations yesterday, but she also came out and worked this event. And of course, Crystal from AT Home Care Staffing, Inc was right there tagging along with her and supporting us! 💜👏

We’re truly grateful for the committee we have. We have an amazing bunch of people who show up, support one another, and give their time and energy to make a difference. I’m so thankful to be part of this group! 💜
