Protein has had the spotlight for a while... but fiber deserves some attention, too.

In her latest blog, Kiley breaks down what "fibermaxxing" actually means, why fiber is so important for your health, and practical ways to increase your intake without overhauling your diet.

One of her favorite questions to ask clients isn't, "What should we take away?" It's: "What could we add?"

That simple mindset shift can make healthy eating feel more sustainable—and a lot more enjoyable.

What helps you feel the most like you?

For Laura, it was spending time creating an intricate jacket for a Mii on Tomodachi Life and doodling a quick self-portrait. Small moments of creativity and play can be powerful reminders of who we are beneath the stress, responsibilities, and expectations of everyday life.

In therapy, reconnecting with yourself doesn't have to begin with a major breakthrough. Sometimes it starts by noticing the moments that make you feel grounded, curious, or joyful, and making room for more of them.

If you've been feeling disconnected from yourself, Laura offers a warm, affirming space to explore your identity, emotions, and what it means to live in a way that feels authentic to you.

After a long work day, managing your other responsibilities, and walking home after the bus was late, the last thing you want to think about is what to cook for dinner.

Healthy eating doesn't have to mean a full overhaul or another rule to follow. Kiley works with you to build routines that actually fit the life you're living now, not the one you think you're supposed to have.

Sessions with Kiley are tailored to you and your schedule, ensuring that the work you do in session can carry outside the hour.

When's the last time you felt some real rage? It's a big feeling when it hits you, and sometimes, it can feel unmanageable.

This month, art and talk therapist Laura wrote their blog post on this topic, called "Anger's Power: A Productive, Positive, and Meaningful Emotion". These aren't adjectives you may think of when you think of anger, but in their blog post, Laura makes the case that anger is a feeling with information, and that safely expressing anger is both possible, and important.

Often, the first step is simply creating enough space to notice what you’re feeling, and letting yourself feel it.

Pause: Name the feeling without judging it or trying to make it disappear.

Release: Find a safe way to let yourself feel, whether that means talking with someone you trust, writing, moving your body, crying, or simply giving yourself some quiet space.

Process: Once the feeling's intensity has settled, be curious about what the feeling might be communicating. What could you need? What matters to you? Is there something that needs to change?

You don't have to figure everything out in the moment. But if you're finding it difficult to process what's coming up on your own, therapy can be a space to slow down, make sense of it, and figure out what comes next.

Rest can be complicated.

Sometimes we technically have fewer things on our schedule, but our minds are still running through the grocery list, appointments, responsibilities, and everyone else's needs.

For Allie, true rest looks less like simply doing less and more like creating moments where she doesn't have to be "on", whether that's enjoying a cup of coffee, taking a walk without planning the next five tasks, reading, or allowing something to stay unfinished.

In occupational therapy, we explore how your daily routines, responsibilities, environment, and energy all interact. Rest isn't something you have to earn after everything is done, it’s part of what allows you to keep showing up for the people and things you care about.

If you've been feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to make space for yourself, Allie can help you explore strategies that feel realistic for your life.

Sometimes feelings can feel a lot bigger when you try not to let yourself feel them.

Expressing anger, sadness, or frustration doesn't have to be unsafe. Giving yourself the time and the space to feel can lighten the load.

For many of us, anger is the emotion we've been taught to fear the most.

We push it down, apologize for it, or try to replace it with something more "acceptable."

But what if anger isn't the problem?

In Laura's newest blog, they explore how their own relationship with anger shifted, and how learning to express it safely opened the door to stronger boundaries, clearer communication, and a deeper understanding of themselves.

Your anger doesn't have to control you. Sometimes, it simply wants to be heard.
