A Poetic Thread to Ponder | may this pain propel me

May this pain propel me to greatness—
and as I tap into its wrath,
may the doors of the healer within
grace Its golden tone.

On knee bowing to glory,
may the choir of angels
bestow their song and melody,
gifted upon this waiting soul.

And miracles begin,
alignment ensues,
blessings anointed
and gratitude blooming.

Oh, the glory, the power and sunshine
placed at one’s disposal—
rising anew.

Bringing my melody to the choir,
praising the songs,
love expanding and
miracles rejoicing.

Apprentice Insights | I am learning to hold both

We are all here on Earth to learn how to transcend and transform the pendulum's swing—a journey spanning lifetimes of incarnation. In this article, Dominica beautifully illustrates the natural cadence of that swing, reflecting our shared evolution on both an individual and collective level.

I hope her words offer you encouragement, resonance, and perhaps even a spark of transformation as you sit with the inner labor required to bring these two worlds into sacred balance.

**************

I Am Learning To Hold Both

For a long time, I thought healing meant getting above myself.

Above the thought.
Above the feeling.
Above the memory.
Above the body.

I thought if I could become healed enough, disciplined enough, evolved enough, I would finally stop being touched by the things that hurt me. I would stop circling the same grief. I would stop returning to the same shame. I would stop needing so much reassurance from my own body.

There was a part of me that wanted transcendence because I was tired.

Tired of feeling.
Tired of explaining myself to myself.
Tired of carrying old stories in my muscles, my breath, my posture, my choices.

So when I encountered teachings about witnessing, detachment, spaciousness, surrender, and cutting through thought, I understood the beauty of them. I still do. There is a real mercy in learning that you are not every thought that passes through your mind. There is freedom in discovering that you do not have to obey every emotional weather pattern inside of you.

But I have also learned that the teachings we need can become the very place we hide.

Sometimes “witnessing” becomes a way to leave the room of the body.

Sometimes “non-attachment” becomes emotional distance dressed in holy clothing.

Sometimes “cut the thought” sounds like wisdom, but inside the body it feels like another abandonment.

And I say that with tenderness, because I have needed those teachings. I have leaned on them. I have tried to use them to become better, lighter, less reactive, less human. But there were parts of me that did not need to be transcended. They needed to be met.

This has taken me years to understand.

There were seasons when my body was carrying things my mind could not organize. I thought my repetitive thoughts were evidence that I was failing spiritually. I thought my emotional intensity meant I lacked discipline. I thought if I were stronger, more awake, more devoted, I would be able to rise above the ache.

But the body is not always trying to sabotage us.

Sometimes the body repeats because something has not yet been heard.

Sometimes the nervous system keeps returning to the wound because the wound is not asking for philosophy. It is asking for safety.

This is where embodiment became medicine for me.
Not as a trend. Not as a performance. Not as another identity to wear. But as a return.

Breath by breath.
Muscle by muscle.
Truth by truth.

Through movement, through voice, through the slow humiliation of realizing I could not think my way into safety, I began to understand that healing does not happen only in the mind. The body has to believe us. The body has to be included. The body has to be given a different experience, not just a better explanation.

For me, embodiment was not aesthetic. It was not soft lighting and beautiful language. It was confronting how much I had abandoned myself while trying to become good. It was seeing where I had performed peace instead of telling the truth. It was feeling the bracing in my ribs, the holding in my throat, the way my breath shortened when I was afraid to be honest.

It was painful.
And it was necessary.
But now I am beginning to see another edge.

Just as spirituality can become a way to bypass the body, embodiment can become a way to bypass the soul.

There is a way of doing “the work” that becomes endless. Endless processing. Endless tracking. Endless regulating. Endless naming of every wound, every trigger, every sensation, every protective pattern. And yes, there is value in that awareness. But awareness without orientation can become another loop.

A person can know every wound and still not be free.
A person can understand their nervous system and still not know what they are living for.
A person can become so loyal to the body’s history that they forget the body is also capable of becoming a vessel for something new.

That is the place I am standing now.

I do not want to use spirit to escape my humanity. But I also do not want to make my humanity the ceiling of my life.

I do not want to float above the body. But I also do not want to drown in the body.

I want to learn how to hold both.

The grounded and the lifted.
The wound and the witness.
The nervous system and the soul.
The truth of what happened and the responsibility of what I become next.

This is not a clean process. It is not the kind of healing that looks graceful from the outside.Real integration is often awkward. It asks more of us than either extreme.

It is easier to rise above everything and call it peace.

It is also easier to stay inside the wound and call it authenticity.

But integration asks for something more honest. It asks me to feel what I feel without making every feeling my identity. It asks me to witness my thoughts without using spiritual discipline to silence the part of me that is still hurting.

It asks me to take responsibility without collapsing into shame.

It asks me to honor my body without letting old fear become my authority.

That is growth for me.

Not becoming untouchable.
Not becoming perfectly regulated.
Not becoming a person who never aches, never reacts, never grieves, never needs.

Growth is that I can see more now.

I can see where I used spiritual ideas to avoid feeling.
I can see where I used pain to avoid changing.
I can see where I wanted someone else to give me the answer because trusting my own body felt too dangerous.
I can see where I confused intensity with truth, and where I confused detachment with maturity.

And still, I have compassion for the woman who did all of that.

She was trying to survive.
She was trying to be good.
She was trying to become light because life had felt so heavy.

I do not reject her anymore.
I am trying to bring her with me.

This is what I wish more healing spaces would make room for: the complexity. The fact that we can need discipline and tenderness. We can need accountability and compassion. We can need the body and the witness. We can need the ground and the sky.

The old traditions knew this better than we often do now. They did not separate the body from the sacred so casually. Breath, posture, sound, prayer, stillness, movement and devotion. These were never meant to be competing languages. They were meant to shape the whole person.

The body was not something to escape.
But it was also not the final destination.
The body was the instrument.

The place where truth becomes visible.
The place where devotion becomes practiced.
The place where spirit has to become honest.

That is what I am learning through my own work now.

In movement, I see how the body tells the truth before the mind is ready. In voice, I hear where I am still holding back. In breath, I meet the places where I am braced against life. In stillness, I remember there is something in me larger than the wound.

None of these are separate anymore.

My body teaches me where I am defended. My spirit reminds me I am more than my defenses. My life asks me to make that understanding real.

I think this is the next layer of healing for me: not choosing between ascension and embodiment, but refusing to use either one as an escape.

I want a spirituality that can touch the ground.
I want an embodiment that still remembers the sacred.
I want a life where my pain is not denied, but also not enthroned.
I want to become spacious without disappearing.

Grounded without becoming heavy. Honest without becoming cruel. Soft without becoming vague. Strong without becoming armored.

Maybe that is what integration really is.
Not the absence of struggle, but a different relationship to it.
Not the end of pain, but the ability to let pain become wisdom instead of identity.
Not leaving the body.
Not becoming only the body.

And so I remain. Open. Uncertain. Willing. Trusting that something larger than my understanding is already at work.

Spiritual Warrior Corner | checkmate

Jul. 4, 2026

Yesterday's movements mark the pinnacle of our current stage of civilization. Not only do we continue, but now we begin the accelerated downward slide—the dismantling of the old chess pieces across every corner of our social fabric, preparing us for a move to a higher vertical chessboard.

It is a thrilling and arduous rearranging of the king, queen, bishops, knights, rooks, and pawns archetypes within every single thread of our individual, family, communal, national, and global structures. The very fortresses we have built are shifting.

The current game we play will be turned upside down; the dance of life will take on a new melody and tune. Higher evolved, unified, and cohesive structures, rules, and moves will become the foundation that builds our new game of life.

Checkmate is but a few moves away in years. The fierce competition between the two opponents will ultimately propel us through the birthing of a grander evolutionary tournament, bringing forth the new chessboard where our species' upcoming higher vibrational Earth takes hold.

As consciousness recalibrates, the old strategies dissolve, clearing the space for a completely new framework of collective existence.

Light therapy is receiving remarkable recognition in the medical world, but as many of you know, the true power of light is far from a new discovery.

The prophet Edgar Cayce spoke endlessly about the profound therapeutic qualities of light energy, and my mentor and teacher carries the ancient wisdom of the Hermes Trismegistus lineage—the thrice-great spiritual tradition—which has long emphasized light as a fundamental source of deep healing and restoration.

Seeing modern research confirm what these traditional teachings have understood all along is extraordinary—especially when photodynamic therapy can yield such transformative results at the cellular level.

When we supply our cells with the precise light frequencies they need, we awaken the body’s innate ability to renew and heal itself.

This information comes from Jonathan Otto, health researcher, investigative journalist, and documentary filmmaker, whose work and emails I’ve been following for quite some time.

Check out this YouTube video and find what resonates with you and works for your body.

The trial result that shocked cancer researchers

When researchers published a pilot study on B-Cell Lymphoma, the results caught the medical community off guard.

All three patients in the trial achieved complete clinical remission within a single week.

They didn't use an aggressive new pharmaceutical.

They used photodynamic therapy… pairing a light-activating compound with targeted red light wavelengths.

I sat down with Jimmy Dore to walk through this exact study on screen.

And I broke down why researchers are paying so much attention to light-driven cellular health.

=> Watch the full conversation with Jimmy Dore here
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TVIFsSYFaTM

We also covered:

A 413-patient study published in The Lancet where 49% of the red light group achieved remission, compared to just 13.5% in the control group.

A European study where 100% of participants saw their symptoms clear up in just four short red light sessions.

How red light goes straight through your skin to power your mitochondria… even if your stomach struggles to absorb supplements.

The science is remarkably clear.

When you give your cells the right light energy, your body's natural renewal systems can do extraordinary things.

To your health,
Jonathan Otto

Dear fellow classmates of Life, the July Newsletter is here! 💫

We continue to navigate a profound individual and worldwide growth spurt—what I call our Spiritual Adolescence.

As we watch this worldwide dismantling process unfold, we must remember that it entails both man-made and nature-made catalysts to awaken our minds and hearts. Just look at the recent earthquakes over the last three months—ranging from Venezuela, to my beloved motherland Colombia, to El Salvador yesterday.

These earth shifts remind us to observe, anchor in our inner sanctuary of peace, and step up as healers for ourselves and living Mother Earth.

Ultimately, all these catalysts provide a sacred opportunity to be of service, build unity, pierce through discord and ingrained beliefs, and connect even deeper with the One Creator.

August 10th, 2026 — 8:15 AM

Mother Earth spoke this morning. It was the longest trembling of her soul that I have ever witnessed, felt, or heard—I am guessing it lasted for about 15 seconds.

It happened around 7:30 AM. I was just coming out of my slumber, laying in bed and greeting the morning, when a slight rattle of the window announced she was awakening, too. Soon, my second-floor residence began moving to her contractions. I stayed right there in bed, soaking in the moment and listening to her discourse.

Right away, I noticed the sounds and movements were entirely different this time. They were completely consistent—no stops and starts, no sudden peaks, and none of those sharp, sudden shocks. As I lay there observing the sheer length and magnitude of her rhythm, I entered the tabernacle of my heart and asked if I should move somewhere. Truthfully, I had no desire to get up. My higher self gently told me no, so I stayed put, inhaling the experience and marveling at the continuous wave of her movement, as I surrounded myself with light and love and radiating it outward.

An alarm eventually went off, and about five minutes after everything settled, I finally got up. There was an intense metallic smell hanging in the air of my apartment, which I imagine was caused by the friction of all the metal moving within the buildings. I started surmising the logistics of it: if the epicenter was right here or close to Medellín, it must have been between a 5 and a 6 on the Richter scale. If it was further away, like near Bogotá, then it was a truly massive contraction—likely a 7 or higher.

My building is around 40 years old, so it predates Colombia's modern anti-earthquake codes. It doesn't have the newer foundation designs integrated with seismic-resistant regulations that allow a structure to safely rock and absorb shockwaves. In buildings that do have these seismic-resistant features, it can feel a bit like the structure bends like bamboo on the higher floors instead of snapping like a rigid structure.

I know that feeling well, because exactly ten years ago this month, I was on the eighth floor of a newer building. I was standing in the front, protruding living room on a bright, beautiful day just like today when Mother Earth had a very strong, 6.1 magnitude contraction.

The entire building swayed forward. It felt like the top floor where I stood was bending so far forward that I thought it might just snap and plunge. I stood perfectly still and said, "Father, here I am, do with me as you wish." In that space, I just kept connecting with Mother Earth's immense force and the language she was speaking, sending love and light wherever it was needed.

Facts of This Morning's Earthquake

The Magnitude: It was officially registered as a massive 7.4 magnitude earthquake. The Colombian Geological Service (SGC) emphasized that this is the strongest, highest-magnitude earthquake recorded in Colombia in the last 10 years.

The Time: It struck at 7:34 AM.

The Epicenter: It was located in San José del Palmar, Chocó (roughly 130–150 miles southwest of Medellín).

Depth & Aftershocks: It had a depth of about 82 kilometers. A significant aftershock of magnitude 4.8 hit shortly after at 8:18 AM.

Regional Impact: Cali and Manizales

Because Chocó (department) borders the Coffee Region and the Valle del Cauca (department), those areas were much closer to the energy release than Medellín or Bogotá (capital):

Manizales: This appears to be one of the hardest-hit cities; the intense shaking caused one of the towers of the famous neo-Gothic Cathedral Basilica to collapse onto its nave.

Pereira & Cali: Widespread structural damage, severe cracks in concrete, and partial building collapses have been reported across both cities.

Quibdó (Capital of Chocó): Being the closest major city to the epicenter, they are reporting significant structural failures and numerous injuries as emergency protocols are deployed.

My digital assistant, who arrived at 1:00 PM, informed me of the severity of this earthquake and shared that here in Medellín, the Metro was stopped for about four hours until a full inspection was completed and confirmed there were no issues.

I am well, and there are no cracks or visible signs of damage in my apartment.

Let us all continue to send our love, light, and healing prayers to all who need them.

A Poetic Thread to Ponder |the unseen kingdom

It is a joy to witness the inner senses of my students awakening as they navigate their own spiritual architecture. One of my Spiritual / Metaphysical Life Coaching students captured this beautifully in the following poem—a reminder that even a single dew drop can cradle the entire world in its silence.

The Unseen Kingdom

The bearded rock
smiles in silence
harboring a kingdom unseen.

An army of raindrops
drums in staccato rhythm.
Each puddle a key in the
song of the storm.
A single dew drop
cradles the world
mirrored upside down
in silence.

A single star, its glaze unique, dares to shine against
a million kindred lights.
