May 20th - Roxy’s one year stem cell birthday- as of today still no cane, no DMD drugs with terrible side effects, no relapses. This week was a celebration that HSCT was the answer we asked God for! This week was a reflection on all the intricacies of relationships that were forged before we knew they would become family in our hardest season. This week was filled with the many memories of those who called, and stepped up to help Roxy get to treatment and to give her life back!

One year ago, a simple task in this weather would have crippled Roxy’s body in minutes, her speech would’ve quickly slurred like she was intoxicated and her body would’ve been crippled for days. Her movements slow, and walking would’ve been inposisible without assistance. Together, we stacked stacked a cord of wood today for about two hours - but it feels like Roxy overcame a mountain! Thank God for his amazing acts of provision!
