Two antidepressants didn't work. That isn't a personal failure, and it isn't the end of the list.

Medication reaches your brain through your bloodstream, which means it reaches all of it. TMS uses magnetic pulses aimed at one specific region involved in mood regulation.

Different target, different approach. It's FDA-cleared for major depressive disorder, covered by most insurance, and it's often used alongside the medication you're already taking rather than instead of it.

If you've tried two and you're still here, that's exactly who this is for.

When you come in for a consultation, this is who is reviewing your case.

Dr. John Fleming, our Medical Director. Board-certified psychiatrist. Forty years treating depression. Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. Fellow of the Clinical TMS Society. Selected by his peers as one of America's Best Doctors every year since 2005.

He has been a certified TMS provider since 2011, which is longer than most TMS clinics in Colorado have existed.

The free consultation is a conversation with a member of our clinical team, not a salesperson. Call or text 719-359-8812.

Before you start any brain stimulation treatment, ask one question: is this covered by my insurance?

Standard TMS is FDA-cleared for major depressive disorder and covered by most plans, including Aetna, Humana and BCBS Premera. We verify your benefits and handle the prior authorization before you commit to anything.

Other protocols in this category aren't covered, and can run several thousand dollars out of pocket. Some of them may turn out to be right for the right person. You should just know which one you're being offered, and what it costs, before you start.

Free consultation, and we'll tell you honestly where you stand: 719-359-8812.

“I don't want to add another pill.”

We hear that more than almost anything else.

TMS is non-invasive and drug-free. It isn't a prescription, it doesn't move through your bloodstream, and it doesn't carry the side effects that make people quit antidepressants.

It also isn't a reason to stop a medication that's helping you. Most people stay on what they're taking during a course of TMS. What happens after is a conversation between you and whoever prescribes it, and we're happy to be part of that conversation.

A depressed client can't hear with the same ears as a non-depressed one.

That's how our team puts it. You can do good work in session and still watch it not land, because depression narrows what a person is able to take in.

TMS is aimed at the depression itself. It's FDA-cleared for major depressive disorder, covered by most insurance, and it runs alongside therapy, not instead of it. When the depression lifts, the work you've been doing often has somewhere to go.

If you have a client who's tried medication and is still stuck, we'd be glad to talk. 719-359-8812.

Here's the whole commitment.

Fifteen minutes a day. Five weekdays a week. Four to six weeks. The treatment itself is about three minutes of that fifteen.

You sit in a chair, awake. No anesthesia, no recovery, and you drive yourself home.

The schedule is the reason most people say no to TMS. It's smaller than it sounds.

You can text us. 719-359-8812.

Some people would rather not make the phone call, and that's completely reasonable. Text the same number and a real person at our Colorado Springs office will answer.

Ask anything: whether your insurance covers it, whether you'd qualify, what the schedule looks like, how long it takes. No commitment attached to asking.

The technology is the same technology everywhere. The people aren't.

Our clinical director and services director have both been here since 2011, treating patients in Colorado Springs. You'll see the same faces every day for six weeks. There's a reason patients mention that more than they mention the machine.

TMS isn't for everyone. Here's roughly who it's for.

You've tried at least one antidepressant, often two or more, and you're still depressed. Or the medication works but the side effects have made it not worth it.

You'd rather not add another prescription.

You can commit to weekday appointments for four to six weeks.

That's the general shape of a good candidate. Most insurers use similar criteria for coverage. If that sounds like you, the consultation is free: 719-359-8812.

What actually happens on the free consultation, since nobody ever tells you.

You talk to a member of our clinical team, not a salesperson. We ask about your history: what you've tried, how long, what happened. We tell you whether TMS is a reasonable option for you, and we're direct if it isn't.

If it is, we check your insurance and tell you what coverage looks like before you commit to anything.

That's it. It's free and there's no obligation. It starts with a call or a text.
