Comment “I matter” if you’re curious 🤍

I danced in my car yesterday 💃 (slowly…I was in my neighborhood!)

I was celebrating after two sessions with a client. She found more clarity about herself, and seeing her smile and feel lighter at the end was gold.

I love seeing people come home to themselves, even just a little bit.

It’s huge if you’ve left yourself to help, care for, and put others first. If you struggle with decisions, perfection, speaking up, setting boundaries, saying what you want to say, or listening to your body and your gut.

Tired of staying small?

VD: A woman with light brown hair in a loose bun, silver hoop earrings, a black tank top, and a rose-pink cardigan dances in the driver’s seat of her car. Her seatbelt is on. Her eyes are half closed, she’s smiling, and her fists are up as her shoulders move to the beat. Green hills and trees are outside the window.

Stop swallowing your anger.

Leave your apologies at the door and bring your raw, honest self. Bring your mat, cushions, pillows, candles, water, and crystals if you want.

The Anger Release Circle is a virtual workshop, up to 2 hours.

First hour-ish: Move it out
We’ll move and breathe to release anger from the body. In Kundalini yoga, the navel center holds our power and fire, so we’ll begin with belly pumping and navel-focused exercises. Then we’ll flow into intuitive dance and cooling breathwork, and rest in savasana.

Last 30–45 minutes: Share space
We’ll gently share reflections, struggles, or what’s been making us angry. Sharing is always optional. You’re welcome to simply listen, or leave whenever you need. There’s so much to learn from each other’s stories.

Tomorrow night · 4–6 pm PT / 7–9 pm ET
Virtual · $20 · Free for Living Practice members
For Deaf, hard-of-hearing, and ASL-signing folks

VD: A woman with blonde hair in a loose bun sits cross-legged on a white cushion in a bright room with tall windows, pine trees, cacti, and plants behind her. She wears an orange cardigan, black tank top, and olive green pants. She smiles softly, then pushes her palms out toward the camera. Text reads “Stop swallowing your anger.” She raises her arms and pulls them down with fists, then punches forward with alternating fists. She does lion’s breath, opening her mouth wide with her tongue out. Text reads “Release it with us tomorrow night” and “Anger Release Circle · 4 pm PT / 7 pm ET · Link in bio.”

Anger has to go somewhere. Let it be your body, not your people.

Stand up. Soft knees. Shake your hands. Your arms. Your shoulders. Your hips. Your whole body. Don’t make it pretty.

Scream if you need to. I did, and it felt amazing.

Now stop. Close your eyes. Breathe.

Feel that? That’s anger leaving your body.

Thursday, we go deeper.

VD: A woman with long, wavy blonde hair stands barefoot in a sunlit room with big windows, pine trees outside, and plants on the sills. She wears a black long-sleeve top and brown wide-leg pants. She shakes her whole body freely, arms loose, hands running through her hair. Text on screen reads: “Do this when you’re about to explode 🔥” and “Shake it out. Don’t make it pretty.” She screams, then stops, closes her eyes, and breathes. Final text: “Anger isn’t bad. Stuck anger is.”

Hi, I’m Cali. I’ve never fully introduced myself here, so this is me. The real, honest version.

If any part of my story feels familiar, I’d love to hear from you. Say hi in my DMs.

VD:

1. A woman with long blonde wavy hair, a tan wide-brim hat, and a blush top smiles softly with her hand at her chin, standing in front of white rock formations.

2. An old photo of a little girl with curly blonde hair and bangs, in a smocked dress, holding a black and white kitten.

3. A woman with long brown hair flips her hair in front of a bright window, her face hidden.

4. A hand holds a small old photo of an older man in front of a window with a mountain and pine tree view.

5. A close-up of a woman with long hair crying, eyes closed, her chin resting on her arm.

6. A black and white photo of a woman with long wavy hair walking away down a forest trail.

7. A woman stands small at the bottom of the frame under a night sky full of stars and the Milky Way.

8. A woman in a yellow dress laughs with her hand on her head, standing in front of green vines.

9. A smiling woman with long blonde hair holds her hands in prayer at her heart, standing in a golden meadow with mountains behind her.

Read that again, girl!

You were never too much. Too loud, too sensitive, too emotional, too needy. Those were just words from people who couldn’t hold all of you.

Take up space. Your fullness is not the problem.

VD: A woman with long, wavy blonde hair leans close to the camera and pinches her fingers open. Tiny text in the center grows bigger with each pinch until it reads: “You were never too much. They were too small.” in a white box with sparkles. She steps back and dances freely in a sunlit living room, wearing a loose white top and raspberry pink leggings, her hair swinging.

Who in your life couldn’t give you what you needed?

Maybe they never got it themselves.
What did they have to give you?

Boundaries and love can live together. Everybody needs love. 🤍

VD: Cali, a woman with long, wavy blonde hair, sits in a bright room with tall windows and green trees outside. She wears a soft cream knit sweater, dangling earrings, and dark red nail polish. She signs to the camera in ASL, her expression heartfelt. Captions appear on screen. Text overlay at the top reads: “I found my neighbor’s body yesterday.”

Move the anger 🔥

Anger is one of our most misunderstood emotions. Many of us learned to suppress it, apologize for it, or fear it. But anger is information. It’s the nervous system’s protective response, a signal that a boundary has been crossed or a need has gone unmet.

When anger has no safe outlet, it settles into the body as tension, irritability, exhaustion, or shutdown. In this circle, we let the body complete what it started.

Join me for the Anger Release Circle, a virtual somatic workshop. Together, we will:

- Activate and release stored energy through Kundalini breathwork and movement

- Regulate the nervous system with humming and calming breath

- Share space to explore what lives beneath the anger: hurt, grief, and unspoken boundaries

No experience needed. Come as you are.

VD: A woman with long, wavy blonde hair sits on a white cushion in a sunlit room with tall windows, trees, and plants behind her. She wears a black-and-white patterned sleeveless jumpsuit. Text on screen reads "“ove The Anger • Stay for Big News.” She does four short exercises, each labeled on screen: Bhastrika, arms reaching up and pulling down into fists; alternating forward punches with breath of fire; a physiological sigh; and Silence, hands resting on her heart with a soft smile. She then signs to the camera, sharing news about the Anger Release Circle workshop.

After a deep release, your body needs rest. That’s not weakness. That’s healing. 🍂

What do you do to bring yourself back to yourself? 🤍

VD: A woman with long, wavy blonde hair, wearing a mauve knit sweater, sits in a bright room with tall windows behind her. She smiles softly with her hands pressed together, then signs in ASL about feeling exhausted after a deep emotional release. The video shifts to a river in autumn. She walks barefoot across large stepping stones, smiling and dancing, then sits on a stone with her feet in the water, eyes closed and face tilted toward the sky. Yellow leaves float on the water around her.

Releasing anger isn’t giving up the fight. It’s how we stay strong for the long haul.

1. RELEASE: Fists of Anger, 1–3 min
2. INTEGRATE: Love in, love out, 1–2 min
3. PROTECT: Self-hug, 3 deep breaths

Go at your own pace. Save this for when the timeline feels heavy. 🤍

VD: A woman with long, wavy blonde hair sits cross-legged on a white cushion, wearing a lavender top and gray pants, in front of a bright window with trees and plants. Text reads: “Your rage is intelligent.” She signs in ASL about collective rage, then demonstrates three steps: pumping her fists backward overhead with an O-shaped mouth breath, moving her hands between her heart and forward, and hugging herself.

It was you surviving, too. 🤍 I hear you. I see you.

VD: A woman with long blonde hair sits in a warm, sunlit room, wearing an olive green hoodie and soft tan pants. Behind her, tall windows show trees and blue sky, with green plants nearby. White text at the top reads: “It happened to me, too.”
