IS NOW A GOOD TIME TO INSALL NEW SOD?

I recently received this question from a customer wanting to know if it was alright to install sod now or wait until it warms up.
Here is my answer: Yes now, is a good time to lay sod. There’s less stress on the new sod with the cooler weather as it roots in. Be careful not to over water it though. Right now you would water 2-3 times a week for new sod would be plenty.
Once the weather gets warm next spring, the grass will already be established and ready for fertilizer and preventative w**d control.

At 12:30 Friday afternoon, we got a call with a tight deadline. Our client needed their landscaping refreshed by Monday.

They shared their expectations, and we got to work.

That afternoon, we arranged for trees and plants to be couriered in from Louisiana. By 6:30 p.m., they were arriving at the job site, and our crew was ready to make it happen.

We’re proud of the finished result, but we’re just as proud of the teamwork behind it. Coordinating deliveries, pulling everything together, and getting the job done on a short timeline took a crew willing to step up.
