We will be having planetarium shows this Friday and Saturday! Seating will begin at 6:50 pm and the show starts at 7 pm. Seating is limited to 94 people. Admission is free, but donations are gladly accepted.

The planetarium is located in the Conway Corporation Center for the Sciences. Please no food or drink in the planetarium. You can check our planetarium web page for more dates.

The one-hour show includes a full-dome movie and a tour of the solar system. This week’s show will be Mayan Archaeoastronomy – Observers of the Universe.

What is ACIREMA?
Want to know what it feels like to travel to or be in a foreign country? ACIREMA is an international education simulation designed to provide participants with insight, understanding, and perspective on the journey to study abroad in a different country.

Last year, the Center for Global Learning and Engagement (CLGE) debuted its ACIREMA simulation experience; we invite you to register for this year's event and share it with your UCA peers (students, faculty, professional staff, student workers, administrators, and beyond). What a great way to learn about culture and the study abroad experience, and to make connections in the shoes of an international student!

For the first hour, participants will assume the role of an incoming international student and be asked to navigate the necessary offices, processes, and protocols to begin studying at UCA. Following the role-play, participants will learn from fellow students who are studying at UCA from a different country and have represented UCA while studying internationally. This event marks the beginning of UCA’s International Education Month this November!

Don’t forget to make your 2027 benefit elections from October 19, 2026 through October 30, 2026 @ 11pm. Elections cannot be made once open enrollment closes unless you have a qualifying life event.

It is that time of year where BeWell partners with the UCA Student Health Clinic to offer FREE biometric screenings to eligible employees by appointment. Take advantage of this opportunity to better understand and manage your health and earn a health insurance premium discount for 2027. The screening takes less than 15 minutes and is one of two activities to complete in order to qualify for a discount on your health insurance premiums in 2027.
