Celebrate National Women's Health and Fitness Day on September 28th. The day was established in 2002 to promote physical fitness and health awareness among women of all ages. Increase your health consciousness and prioritize this important part of life that is sometimes neglected. Disease prevention is better than a cure, and routine check ups to detect problems early are important. Make your health a priority and schedule your mammogram, pap smear, and other screenings tests.

Regular screenings, along with follow-up care, can help detect abnormal cell changes early, which can be treated before it turns into cancer. National Women's Health Week
May 9–15, 2021

Your health is a lifelong journey. It’s personal. It’s unique. It’s yours.
Where are you on your health journey, and where do you want to go? Every woman has her own approach, and we know that it’s not always easy to take steps for better health. This National Women’s Health Week, find what works best for you.

Are you ready to find your health?
Take the next step to find your health today!

The steps that build a foundation of good health are the same for everyone:

*Visit a health care provider for a well-woman visit (checkup), preventive screenings, and vaccines.
*Get active.
*Eat healthy.
*Pay attention to mental health, including getting enough sleep and managing stress.
*Practice safe behaviors, such as quitting smoking, not texting while driving, and taking steps to protect yourself from sexually transmitted infections.

But health isn’t one-size-fits-all. We’re all unique! We all have our own reasons for wanting to be healthy and ways of going about it. It can be hard to take steps for good health. But discovering what works best for you can help you build healthy habits — habits you’ll be more likely to stick to for a healthier, happier you.

Thank you for all you do. We appreciate our nurses. Happy Nurses Week!
