The Tulip Tree partners with Pink Gala

Cookeville, TN – Ticket holders to this year’s sold out Pink Gala are in for a treat. The Leslie Town Centre will be transformed through designed decor led by Dawson Davidson, event designer with The Tulip Tree, in Nashville, Tenn. The Tulip Tree was established in the early 1970s and has been managed by the current owner, Mark O’Bryan, since 1993. Under Mark’s leadership, The Tulip Tree has become Nashville’s premiere florist, offering fine flowers that are artistically arranged for many of Nashville’s most elegant events. The Tulip Tree delivers city-wide and arranges flowers for shipping anywhere in the USA. Dawson joined The Tulip Tree in 2023 and is excited to bring its unique design flair to Cookeville for the Pink Gala. The Pink Gala, one of the Upper Cumberland region’s premier events, has sold out of all available tickets for the April 6, 2024 event. The elegant evening will include four-course meal, cocktail hour, silent auction, and dancing with returning talent “8 South Band.” The Pink Gala is presented by Cumberland Imaging Associates. Additional sponsors include Journey Financial Planning, Cherokee Distributing and the Real Estate Collective. The Pink Gala event benefits the Upper Cumberland Pink Ribbon Program, which provides free mammograms to hundreds of local residents who cannot afford one. Pink Ribbon is one of many charitable programs operated by Cookeville Regional Charitable Foundation. Although the event is sold out, those wishing to support Pink Ribbon directly may do so online at www.CookevilleRegionalCharity.org. Compassionate Care

Our Foundation is compassionate care for Upper Cumberland residents struggling with disease, sickness or injury. We operate several restricted patients assistance funds such as: Cancer Fund, Heart Fund, Pediatric Fund, Hospice Fund and many others. The Foundation also support charitable programs such as: Art for Healing, Pet Therapy, Carmen's Fund (CPR Education), The Angel Garden, Healing Gardens, Epipen Program, Music for Healing and many others. When gifts are made to the Foundation, 100% is used for charitable programs and services. No gift is used for operating or staff expense, which is covered by Cookeville Regional Medical Center. The Foundation also allows the public to invest in hospital infrastructure and equipment which improves healthcare for patients throughout the Upper Cumberland. We believe collaboration is fundamental to addressing the healthcare and wellness needs of our community, and ensuring that struggling patients are shown compassion during their time of need.
