Breastfeeding, bottle feeding, latching, milk transfer, feeding cues… there’s a lot to learn, and sometimes it doesn’t go exactly as planned.

The good news? You don’t have to figure it all out alone.

We created a FREE “What Does Infant Feeding Look Like?” guide to help you feel more informed and prepared as you navigate feeding with your little one. 🍼

Whether you’re expecting your first baby or preparing to welcome another, this is a resource worth saving!

Because preparing for your baby should include preparing for feeding, too. 💛

If you’ve scrolled past a dozen posts telling you to get it released now, before the window closes, before it’s too late, take a breath. That pressure is loud, and it’s not the full story.

Most of the time, you have time to assess, ask questions, and make an informed choice.

A few things worth knowing:
✨ A functional feeding assessment comes first. How your baby feeds matters more than how the tissue looks.
✨ Other things can look like a tongue tie: positioning, supply, reflux, body tension.
✨ If a release is recommended, preparation and support before and after make a real difference.

One important note: a release is rarely urgent, but a baby who isn’t getting enough to eat can be. Trust your gut.

You don’t have to figure this out alone. 💛 Book a feeding evaluation at the link in our bio.

Educational content only, not medical advice. Talk with your baby’s care team about your specific situation.

You don’t have to wait until feeding becomes a daily struggle to ask for help.

Maybe your baby takes a really long time to finish a bottle. Maybe they fall asleep halfway through. Maybe they frequently pull away, get frustrated, or just seem to work really hard to eat.

You may not know why it’s happening, and you don’t have to.

A feeding evaluation can help you understand what’s going on and whether your baby could benefit from support.

Sometimes the first step isn’t fixing the problem.
It’s simply getting answers.

If something doesn’t feel right, trust your gut. You know your baby best. 🤍

Before I was a feeding therapist, I was a mom searching for answers.

I remember what it felt like to wonder if something was wrong, to look for the right support, and to wish someone could simply explain what was happening with my daughter.

That experience changed the direction of my life.

I became an infant feeding therapist because I wanted to be the person I was searching for back then: someone who could listen, provide answers, and help families feel less alone in the process.

Now, I get to walk alongside other moms and their babies through the hard, confusing, and sometimes beautiful journey of feeding. 🤍

If feeding feels harder than you expected, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

For some babies, feeding doesn’t come easily. Difficulty latching, clicking or coughing during feeds, taking a long time to eat, frequent breaks, bottle refusal, or becoming upset during feeding can all be signs that your little one may need some extra support.

You know your baby best. If feeding feels stressful or something just doesn’t seem right, you don’t have to simply wait and hope they outgrow it.

Feeding therapy can help identify what may be making feeding difficult and support your baby in developing safe, comfortable, and successful feeding skills. 🤍

Because feeding time should be about nourishing your baby, not fighting through every feed.
