Pace Care Solutions is giving one family complimentary admission for up to six people to District Day at the Dallas Zoo!

This opportunity is intended for a family living in Dallas City Council District 6, including West Dallas, Ledbetter and Eagle Ford, La Loma, Bachman Lake, Midway Hollow, parts of Love Field and Elm Thicket Northpark, the Upper Stemmons corridor, Koreatown, or the Asian Trade District.

Common ZIP codes include 75207, 75209, 75212, 75220, 75229, 75235, and 75247. Eligibility will be confirmed privately because some ZIP codes cross district boundaries.

Entries close Thursday, October 8 at 8:00 p.m. The selected family will be contacted privately and announced Friday, October 9.

Admission is complimentary. Transportation, parking, food, and additional zoo expenses are not included. Please do not post your home address or personal information in the comments.

🍂 Happy First Day of Fall, Moms! 🧡

Some of our expecting moms have had something extra special baking this year. 👶🏾🍼

And if baby is getting closer, let’s do a quick check…

💉 “Can I get vaccinated while pregnant? Do I have to?”

🚗 “Wait…we still need a car seat!”

👩🏾‍⚕️ “Have we picked a pediatrician yet?”

📄 “How do I add baby to my insurance after delivery?”

If you just read that and thought, “Ummm… 😭 I’m not ready.”

Don’t panic. Let’s make a plan. 💙

There are programs and resources available to help families with everything from pregnancy education and healthcare navigation to baby essentials, including car-seat resources for eligible families.

And you don’t have to figure out where to start by yourself.

🧡 This Saturday, September 26, Pace Care Solutions will be joining Dallas County Health & Human Services at the THRIVE Tour Dallas Baby Shower, connecting expecting moms, new moms, dads and families with resources and their next steps.

💗💙 PCS SHOWED UP FOR BLUE GOES PINK!

What a morning! Pace Care Solutions had the opportunity to participate in the Dallas Police Department’s 4th Annual Blue Goes Pink 5K Cancer Awareness Walk & Community Safety Fair, and this is exactly why I love getting PCS out into the community.

We came with resources, information, and real examples of what healthcare navigation can look like, including one of our latest wins: helping reduce a medication cost from $300 to just $10. 🙌🏾

But some of the best moments happened away from the table.

We connected with community organizations, law enforcement, survivors, families, and other resource providers. Every conversation gave PCS another opportunity to learn, build relationships, and strengthen the network of resources we can bring back to the families we serve.

A special thank you to our community partner, KIPP Texas Public Schools Dallas, for extending the invitation and continuing to connect PCS with opportunities to serve our Dallas community. 💙 That connection opened the door for a beautiful morning of new relationships and resources.

And thank you to the Dallas Police Department and everyone involved in Blue Goes Pink for creating a space centered on breast cancer awareness, wellness, safety, and community. 🎀

PCS is growing one relationship, one resource, and one family at a time.

🚨 PCS HEADS UP | TEXAS PATIENTS

Effective July 1, 2026, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas implemented changes to how certain Evaluation & Management (E/M) claims are reviewed.

Under the updated process, certain claims may be reimbursed at a lower level than originally billed. When a provider disagrees with that adjustment, additional medical documentation may need to be submitted to support the original level of service.

What could this mean?

More claim reductions.
More disputes.
More documentation.
More reconsiderations and appeals.

📌 Before you pay a medical bill, CHECK YOUR EOB.

Compare your EOB with the bill from your provider. Look at what insurance paid, what was adjusted, and what it says you actually owe. If something doesn’t look right, ask questions before assuming the balance is correct.

An insurance decision doesn’t always mean the conversation is over. Documentation matters.

On Saturday, September 26, we’ll be joining families and community organizations for a day focused on connecting expecting moms, new moms, dads, babies, and families with resources and support.

And of course, PCS will be there doing what we do best — helping families move From Panic to Plan. 💙

Families can enjoy free food, resources, entertainment and more. When registering through the QR code on the flyer, families can also select the diaper size they need.
