Most people think falls are random.
They’re not.
They’re predictable.
And more importantly — they’re preventable when you understand the system.
I created a simple Fall Risk Assessment Guide to give you a clear starting point.

Here’s how it actually works.
There are three things that determine whether you stay upright when something unexpected happens:
Your ability to sense where your body is in space
Your ability to react quickly
Your strength to correct yourself
If even one of those is weak… your risk goes up.
—
Now here’s where most people go wrong.
They try to fix this by:
Walking more
Doing general exercise
Joining group classes
All good things.
But none of them directly train those three systems in a meaningful way.
That’s like trying to improve your reaction time by going for a jog.
It doesn’t translate.
—
Balance has to be trained specifically.
And more importantly — it has to be measured.
Because without measurement, there’s no baseline.
And without a baseline, there’s no way to know if you’re improving… or declining.
—
That’s why the process has to follow a sequence:
Measure → Train → Re-measure
Not guess → hope → assume.
—
Here’s what happens when you do it correctly:
You get objective feedback
You train the exact weakness
You see measurable improvement
And that improvement creates confidence.
—
That confidence is what changes behavior.
And behavior is what protects independence.
—
This isn’t about doing more.
It’s about doing what actually works.
