Celebrating 20 years of Great Lakes Equine,!

Since 2006, Great Lakes Equine has built its practice around caring for horses, supporting the people who love them and investing in the veterinarians who will help carry equine medicine forward.

Mentorship, hard work and strong relationships with clients and the broader equine community have remained central to the practice throughout its history.
Recently, the team marked its 20th anniversary by bringing that community together for an afternoon of celebration. The turnout reflected the relationships Great Lakes Equine has built over two decades—and the trust and connection that continue to shape its work.

Congratulations to the entire Great Lakes Equine team on 20 years of caring for horses, supporting one another and showing up for your community. Here’s to the next chapter. 💙

At PACK 2026, PetVet’s Annual Collaboration and Knowledge-sharing event, leaders from across our network came together to connect, learn and lead—sharing ideas, asking questions, recognizing excellence and strengthening the relationships that help our teams thrive.

From candid conversations with our executive team to collaborative learning, PACK gave us time to build on our shared purpose, learn from one another, and move forward with greater connection, clarity and CARE.

Meet Dr. Rob Blohowiak, PetVet’s Regional Medical Director – Equine and Medical Director at Great Lakes Equine, LLC.

Rob is a longtime equine veterinarian and member of PetVet’s Medical Leadership Team. He’s passionate about connecting with colleagues across our network, sharing practical experience and strengthening how we support veterinary teams.

He’s also a singer. 🎤

The 2026 National Finals Rodeo will be taking place in Las Vegas at the same time as the AAEP Convention, and Rob has submitted an audition to sing the National Anthem at the rodeo.
