Three A’s, three posters, one very good week in Nashville. 🎸🧬

Dr. Anuraag Bandi (PGY3) took home a Presidential Poster Award for “Short Telomere Syndrome as an Underrecognized Cause of Cirrhosis: A Case Series.” 🏆 Telomeres may be short, but our pride is not. 👏🏻👏🏻 Congratulations Anuraag 🎉🤍

Dr. Ajay Anand (PGY2) brought a silent strangler and an ascitic mystery. 🔍 & co-authored the winning poster🎉

Dr. Ayah Obeid, our recent grad now crushing hepatology fellowship, co-authored the winning poster and presented with the crew. 💙

We have a gut feeling these future GI fellows are going places. 🫶

🌟Collar-borating with the best! Our residents practiced proper C-collar placement so we’re ready when an unwitnessed fall brings a rapid response. Thank you to the Allentown ICU nurses, PCAs, and clinical coordinator for the expert teaching. 🩺

She’s a fellow book lover 📖and certified coffee enthusiast ☕️, always ready with a great book rec that she will absolutely write down... whether she has time to actually read it is another story 😂📚

Her 💎jewelry game is a solid 10/10 — you’ll spot her on the floors rocking unique, dainty pieces, just as lovely and one-of-a-kind as she is.🤍🤍

We are so lucky to have her as our resident. Happy birthday to our wonderful Dr. Ackerman! 🥳

🎂🎉 A second 7/22 Birthday goes to our PGY-2 resident Dr. Mari Darbaidze 🌟🎂

🌟🎂Happiest of Birthdays to our one and only Mari — whose love for perfumes and yapping is only matched by the joy she brings to everyone around her!!! When she’s not bullying you into taking pictures and videos for socials, she’s making rounds to see whose badge money she can “borrow” for her next coffee. She has a way of making every day a little lighter. Her infectious laugh, exuberance, and kind heart make everyone feel welcome from the moment they meet her. The halls smell better, the conversations are funnier, and the days are a whole lot more fun because you’re in them! Wishing you the happiest birthday and another amazing year ahead! 🎉🤍
