Advanced Wound Care Surgical Assistant
**CNA or LPN | Full-Time | El Dorado, KS**

Advanced Wound Specialists is seeking a motivated, dependable CNA or LPN to join our specialized surgical wound care team!
This is a unique, hands-on clinical opportunity working directly alongside an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), **actively assisting with surgical wound procedures on a daily basis.**
What Makes This Position Different?
- Serve as a dedicated surgical and procedural assistant to an APRN.
- Participate in surgical wound procedures and advanced wound treatments daily.
- Gain specialized training in surgical instrumentation, procedural techniques, and advanced wound care.
- Work with complex wounds, regenerative therapies, and innovative treatment technologies.
- **LPNs:** Opportunity for employer-supported sharp wound debridement certification and training, subject to eligibility and scope-of-practice requirements.
Position Location & Travel
**This position is home-based in El Dorado, Kansas, with a combination of traveling and in-clinic patient care.**
The majority of the workweek involves traveling alongside your assigned provider to care for patients throughout El Dorado, Augusta, Andover, Wichita, Derby, and surrounding communities, with approximately 1–2 days per week in our El Dorado clinic.
**Applicants must be comfortable driving frequently between patient locations and communities as part of their regular daily responsibilities.**

Who We're Looking For
- Active Kansas CNA certification or LPN license
- Valid driver's license and confidence with frequent driving and travel
- Dependable, organized, and self-motivated
- Comfortable with hands-on surgical procedures
- Eager to learn and develop specialized clinical skills
**Surgical or wound care experience is preferred but NOT required. We will train the right candidate!**
