The Mini Ambassadors have been busy! 🐴💙

Recently, they helped make Pints & Ponies at Whipsaw Brewing a huge success and also visited the college for an event with littles, where they received lots of love and attention.

Want to meet our Mini Ambassadors in person? You have one more chance this month! Join us at Old Mill's Animal Carnival on Sunday, June 28, from 11:00 AM–2:00 PM at Kleinberg Park.

We hope to see you there!

Meet Lisa! Lisa has been a dedicated volunteer horse leader and side walker at Spirit since 2018. An adventurous animal lover and animal behaviorist, she has worked with animals in many settings, including horse farms, a zoo, and a wildlife sanctuary. She enjoys traveling, hiking, cooking, and spending time at the beach.

What brought her to Spirit?
After moving to Texas and leaving her horse behind, Lisa missed being around horses. A co-worker introduced her to therapeutic riding, and when she later moved to Ellensburg, she found Spirit and became part of our volunteer team.

If Lisa were a horse…
She says she would be a dapple gray named Zura.

Her horse “job” would be…
Protecting all her animal friends by chasing off coyotes, cougars, or even angry birds!

Thank you, Lisa, for sharing your passion for animals and your time with the Spirit community! 💙

Meet Cosmo! ✨🐴

Cosmo is 22 years old and has been part of the Spirit family for almost 11 years. He’s brave, sweet, and always ready to connect with people in a special way.

This year, Cosmo got to attend a despooking clinic where he literally walked through a ring of fire 🔥 — proving just how confident and trusting he is! One of his favorite things is spending time with participants in the round pen at free liberty, where his gentle personality really shines. 💛
