Well, this is a bittersweet one for sure ❤️
After four years, we’re saying goodbye to one of the most important people behind the scenes at Witchy Woman World. And while I’m not particularly thrilled about losing my right-hand woman, I’m so happy she’s leaning into change and trusting the process. Terra and her husband, dog & cats are moving on to a new chapter in another state!
I don’t think there’s a corner of this shop she hasn’t had her hands in.
She’s watered and loved our many plants, labeled and wrapped a bazillion products, packed and shipped another bazillion boxes, helped grow this shop, problem solved with me, worked countless markets, designed displays, painted furniture, deep cleaned with me countless times and somehow became our resident handywoman along the way.
She’s also endured the very particular experience of working alongside someone whose creative ideas often arrive faster than any reasonable person can execute them. And she’s handled my creative chaos with a lot of patience, humor, and love.
Somewhere between all the boxes, plants, paintbrushes, markets, and “wait, I have an idea” moments, we shared a whole lot of life together.
She’s even cared for my children throughout the years. She has been so deeply woven into our lives.
And I know I’m not alone within the shop space in loving her. Over the years, so many of you have gotten to know her, shared conversations with her, and come to adore her, too. She’s been such a special part of what makes this shop feel like this shop.
Small businesses are built by people, we know this. And she is such good people.
I’m going to miss her terribly. But I’m also incredibly proud of her, and genuinely excited for everything waiting on the other side of this move. And thank goodness, she’ll be back in the springtime for our 3rd Annual Macabre Spring Weekend!
Here’s to new beginnings, bold adventures, and this next chapter for both of us.
