Rock Spring Congregational United Church of Christ participated in the Virtual Dementia Tour (VDT) at Wednesday's caregiver support group meeting facilitated by Dementia Care Connections. During a Virtual Dementia Tour experience, a trained facilitator guides participants outfitted with patented devices that alter their senses while they try to complete common everyday tasks and exercises. The Tour enables caregivers to experience for themselves the physical and mental challenges those with dementia face, and use the experience to provide better person-centered care.

Thank you to Arden Courts of Annandale and Old Dominion Home Care for helping us facilitate the Virtual Dementia Tour and group discussion!
