When using e-cigarettes or vaping, users inhale an aerosol vapor into their lungs. E-cigarettes make this aerosol by heating a liquid that usually contains nicotine—the addictive drug in regular cigarettes—flavorings, and other chemicals. Bystanders can also breathe in this aerosol when the user exhales into the air. Talk with a healthcare provider if you need help quitting tobacco products, including e-cigarettes. Scientists still have a lot to learn about the long term health effects of e-cigarettes and whether e-cigarettes are effective for quitting smoking. https://www.cdc.gov/tobacco/basic_information/e-cigarettes/index.htmhttps://www.cdc.gov/tobacco/basic_information/e-cigarettes/index.htm
