Halloween is a fun but often misunderstood tradition ππ». Behind the costumes lies a story with deep historical roots.
The way I see it, Halloween is a legacy passed down from ancient Celtic traditions. It stems from Samhain, a sacred festival that marked the end of the harvest season and the start of the Celtic New Year πΎπ.
Their seasonal gatherings and spiritual rituals eventually evolved through history, blending with other cultural practices across centuries. Yet, the core spirit of Samhain...honoring transitions, reflection, and community...still lives on today ππ¦.
For me, Halloween is a reminder that we can give this day whatever meaning resonates with us. I use it to celebrate my inner child, dressing up, letting go, and dancing the night away! I celebrate vibrant colors, connection, and the beautiful, impermanent nature of life π»π.
Whatever meaning you choose to assign to this day, I hope you have a wonderful time. Be happy, embrace the magic, and dance! πβ¨
