You can’t be mad because people are now looking cockeyed at your spouse when YOU were too vulnerable too soon and released your “pissed-off moment” to people who were never supposed to have access to the private matters of your marriage.

Now your temporary frustration has transferred into their permanent perception of your spouse.

You forgave your spouse… but they’re still holding the offense you handed them.

Sometimes you have to own that.
Marriage requires wisdom about who gets access to your vulnerable moments. Two becoming one means protecting the heart, image, character, and gift of your spouse even when you’re upset.

If you overshared, own it. Ask God for forgiveness. Ask your spouse for forgiveness. And when necessary, go back and correct the narrative with the same people you shared it with.

Protect what you prayed for.
Be free.

GARDEN REFLECTION: DON’T GIVE UP YOU’RE GROWING

I walked into my garden and was reminded that growth doesn’t always happen where everybody can see it.

There was a time when all I saw was dirt. I watered anyway. I tended to it anyway. I kept showing up anyway. And now I’m holding what was once hidden beneath the soil.

That cucumber didn’t become a cucumber overnight. That melon didn’t appear fully grown. There was a process seed, soil, water, sunlight, waiting, then FRUIT.

And somebody needs to hear this today:

Just because you don’t see the fruit yet doesn’t mean God isn’t working.

Some seasons are ROOT seasons.
Some seasons are GROWTH seasons.
Some seasons are PRUNING seasons.
And then there are HARVEST seasons.

Galatians 6:9 says: And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

My garden keeps teaching me that you cannot rush what God is developing. You can’t dig up the seed every few days to see whether it’s growing. At some point, you have to trust what you planted, keep watering it, protect it, and give it time.

And look at this everything in the garden doesn’t mature at the same time. One thing may be ready to pick while something else is still growing on the vine. That doesn’t mean the other thing has failed. It simply means it has a different appointed time.

So stop comparing your harvest to somebody else’s.

Keep watering your vision.
Keep praying over your family.
Keep building your ministry.
Keep working on yourself.
Keep believing what God told you.

What looks small today may be the very thing you’ll be holding in your hands tomorrow.

My garden is proof:
I planted. I watered. God gave the increase.
