There's no doubt if you sweat and lift, your high activity levels are helping to keep you out of the doctor's office. Balance Tip: Not what your thinking. Everyone has a dominate hand, for most it's the right. You also have a dominante leg. Your challenge is to start switching sides. Yes it might be a challenge to become aware of life long habits and consciously do the opposite. Start with brushing your teeth with the other hand, same for brushing your hair. If you carry a bag or case into work switch sides. How about switching the knife and fork to cut your food. And for your next grocery list, write with the opposite hand. These are fun ways to start opening new pathways in your mind/body connections. And next time you are standing in a line take notice, you probably have most of your weight shifted to one side. Start bringing it back to the center!

Sandy has shook us all. Training has had to be put on hold for preparation, survival and now recovery. First take a deep breath and feel gratitude for all you have.
